Unfortunately, I was past the closing time, so I realize I was stretching the owner's time, and for that I am sorry. I thought I was just dropping my bike off for a quote to be provided at a future day. I was prepared to pay for the assessment. Proceeded to quickly tell me my bicycle repair was not going to be cheap (which I already knew) and that if I needed to speak with my husband I could come back. At that moment, as a woman who makes decisions on her own with her own money, I felt lessened. I was looking for a quote and basically didn't feel like you wanted the business. I am big on recycle and my cheap factory made bike obviously wasn't to the standards you work with. Suggestion, when talking to someone, provide them the information they are looking for and let the person decide if they want to put the money in. A timeline for a quote, a full list of parts and labour could have been provided, and a cost for the assessment. Always talk to the person speaking with you and let them advise if they need to talk to anyone else.
