I came into the shop on August 4th 2021 to purchase a helmet. Mikayla V. was very knowledgeable and gave me an excellent overview of all the options available to me. I was able to choose the correct helmet in an efficient, timely manner. I’ve been wearing the helmet and it has been extremely comfortable even on longer rides. It is also reassuring knowing that it is built with a concussion prevention design. Please pass on kudos to Mikayla and any employee perks that are available for her!

The friendly staff took the time to answer questions from a novice buyer of mountain bike tires.

I came in on a Tuesday night just before closing because I had recently fallen on my bike (getting used to my new clip ins!) and my seat and handle bars were twisted. As I’m just getting into the road bike/clip in game, I carry no tools or supplies with me and therefore I was stuck with a bike I couldn’t ride the 10 miles home nor had the tools to fix so I could ride home. So I found freewheel and bashfully walked in asking for help. The woman and the man working blew me away. Their first questions where how I was and if I was ok post-fall. They have recommendations on tools and supplies that I should have and other skills I should know as I continue to explore this new to me biking world. I honestly cannot recommend enough or verbalize well enough how thankful I am and how great these two were. I will 100% travel the 10 miles for all my future biking needs.

The service guy diagnosed the problem with the bike promptly when I brought it in with not even an appointment. I didn't expect the repair to be quite so extensive, but it was worth saving the bike and there was no other proper way to do it.
