I have been buying from Freewheel for over 30 years and consider you the top bicycle and bicycle part supply of all. I was however disappointed that you were unable to provide any kind of anti seize compound in your offering upon my latest visit. This is an essential item when assembling elements that ride low by the road and accumilate salt during winter riding. I once had a bike die because the spent bottom bracket cartridge could not be removed.

Your staff was outstanding. Noah patiently worked with my wife and I as we explored the many model options available in our price range. His coworker Aaron was equally helpful and informative. They gave us the time to test ride multiple bikes and find what we hope is the perfect bike for my wife and probably the last bike she’ll ever own. At other bike shops, we’ve encountered an undercurrent of arrogance and impatience from staff that drew me to conclude that the only reason they worked in a bike shop was to get the shop’s discount. Not so at Freewheel. Best of all, the service didn’t stop at the point of sale.That night, Noah sent me a link to the bike rack I had inquired about, which showed follow through on his part. The next day Aaron made a special trip to pick up the bike at the warehouse and Noah contacted me to say that they would be able to build the bike in time for me to pick it up later that afternoon, four days earlier than we had planned. When I decided to buy the bike rack, a third staff member assembled it for me, attached it to my truck, and gave me a tutorial on all its features. From start to finish, the staff at Freewheel gave exceptional service. Thank you everyone.

everything, best shop ever. the service and friendliness is the best though - the people working at grand ave are legends and have all become good friends of mine, which is the goal for a bike shop truly. i've had bad experiences at a lot of shops, especially one just down the road .... and FW grand is just the ultimate.
