What could we do to improve?

I wish that our organization would fight more against the municipalities that have pre-sale inspections and turned them more into a brand new home inspection thus 100 bullet points on the inspection report that is supposed to be safety is not right. Also Village of Lyons is requesting very high escrows from buyers ($5,000 and more) that have to be put up as a check and will not allow insurance bonds which is so wrong thus most of the FHA buyers do not have that kind of money and they are doing mostly renovation financing on homes of $100,000 and less and all their violations are covered under the financing terms anyhow.

I am not disappointed but the organization is recommended when you become a realtor so I would not need to recommend it to anyone.

What do you like about our association services?

The person on the front desk of Downers Grove office was very helpful to accept the copy my sponsored license and requested me to fill up the membership application online as she very politely pointed that it takes about 45 minutes to complete all the application for joining membership, and I was there around 4:45PM (around the closure time).

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

Break the MLS system out from being part of the Realtor Association. There is no reason to force professional to be part of the Realtor Association to have access to the MLS system.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I feel that the Mainstreet has a leadership style that operates in an Autocratic style which Mainstreet is making all the decisions and members have little or no participation in the final decision. Even with the different committees that you create I feel that members should be more involved with decision making within Mainstreet. Lastly, some staff members don't quite understand the definition of customer service is.
