Sorry but I really don't know what I get from the Board. There are so many other sources for education and to purchase business materials. It seems the only time I go to the Board is for keybox stuff and that's because that's the only place I CAN go to get those items.
MORe is well staffed with knowledgeable people who listen and care about the details of a Realtor's daily challenges. They are respectful, offer great learning resources and are a great support team for my real estate brokerage company.
The issue of one day codes no longer be allowed to be given out is a major issue. I sat in the meetings when Sentrilock was being introduced and was told that one of the big advantages of the Sentrilock system was the ability to issue one day codes when needed. Our agents purchased the lockboxes and and spent a lot of many based on what we were told. For an association board to make a Broker decision is not right. Individual Owners and managing brokers should have the right to establish their own poilicy on whether or not to allow 1 day codes to be issued. I have been a member in good standing for over 24 years with MORE (previously Dupage Assoc of Realtors) but due to this issue unfortunately I will not recommend a new Broker to join this association.
Ask for Brokers feedback before makibng decisions that effect all brokers.
Most of our work is done over the weekends with no support from Realtor.
I've been very satisfied with every facet of MORE, however, I really don't like receiving a satisfaction survey each and every time I log in or call.
