I find you are always available when I have any questions. Whether I call the office or if I call the help center, I always get my questions answered. I always enjoy the training classes that I have attended in person or on line. It is great to have a support system like MainStreet.

Everyone in the office is very helpful and will always find a solution for your needs. They always make sure you know they want to help you, and they find the correct person to do so. That personal touch is excellent and greatly appreciated
I don't like the new website. It's harder to navigate and I'm not finding the information I'm looking for that was on the previous one.

I like the new website, but don't find it as user friendly as the old one. Looking for contracts and forms was a challenge, but I did find it. I did pass the information all to all of our 16 offices.
It's very inclusive with great variety and the people that I have interacted with so far really are interested in assisting.

I have tried several times (voicemails, calls, emails) to communicate this to different staff. I have had no response. I hope that this feedback can be received. I will copy and paste my letter below. There is nothing to be done about it anymore as my CAR membership will activate today. Had this not happened, I would have rated Mainstreet a 9 without a doubt.
I have only been a broker for a year, but I’ve had a great experience with Mainstreet. The classes, events and personal help I have received has been excellent.
I have always lived and worked in Chicago and would have joined CAR upon becoming an agent, but my managing broker said it was not an option. I’ve been happy with Mainstreet, but have paid out of pocket non-member fees to CAR events because I’ve thought it important for my career in this city.
Recently, my managing broker said it was now an option to join CAR so I decided to start that process.
My plan was to attend Nerdfest, which I was really looking forward to, as my last Mainstreet event and then transfer my membership. To get my ducks in a row, I called Mainstreet in order to get my letter of good standing.
I was informed that this could only be given at the request of my managing broker so I asked him to send an email and he did.
When he did, I had tours all day. When I returned to desk work, I found that my MLS access was denied and my account was deactivated. I called Mainstreet immediately to get it reactivated and was told that this was not an option.
This was and is still an incredible inconvenience to me and my clients. Most of them will understand but likely be annoyed at my lack of ability to work fully for them right now. Some will drop me entirely as our relationship was new and based on my own prospecting outside for any sphere of influence that could include an advocate for my character and work ethic. All are certainly annoyed that I am unable to offer them the services I had promised.
I enjoyed my time greatly with Mainstreet and am very sorry that it is ending on this very sour note. I write this letter for two purposes:
1. I think Mainstreet needs to be more careful about how these transfers happen. All it would have taken is for the Mainstreet team member to inform me that as soon as my managing broker sends the letter, my account will be deactivated and I will loose access to the MLS. My plan was always to be off of the MLS for as short a time as possible. I wanted to stay on with Mainstreet in to next week. I would have been on the phone with CAR in order to make the transition as smooth as it could be. Because I was not informed, my clients and I have been operating at a minimum for what will be 6 days tomorrow.
2. To request that you re-activate my account until I request the transfer on my own agency. I am having a great deal of difficulty serving my clients right now.
CAR still has not received the letter of good standing that I was informed was sent to them. This fact makes it especially irksome that this all proceeded the way it did.
Thank you for listening and for doing what you can to help my business, as you have done thus far in my career. This experience has been uncharacteristic of the others I’ve had with Mainstreet and I do genuinely hope that my experience can assist you in offering your characteristically excellent service to future members in my situation.
