All are very knowledgeable and very helpful.
Quick to solve problems or find answers.
A couple of things bothered me:
While overall the class was good, I thought that the class lacked substantive information about the potential for dual agency with regards to buyers claiming they are not working with a buyer agent and then asking the listing agent to not only show them the property but also to basically perform buyer agent duties--theoretically for zero compensation. While I think it's possible that many buyers will ask their attorney to negotiate for them, who will then attend to inspections(s); workmen(possibly); lender (possibly)?
There are enough pitfalls with dual agency--this potential new legislation is rife with expected and unexpected circumstances. There was some discussion on this but not enough.
There were some legal questions that were not fully/accurately answered. Maybe Chris could refer agents to the attorneys we often recommend to our clients?
Also: Toward the beginning of the class I asked a question anonymously because I was given that choice in the chat box. The Instructor refused to answer my question or issue CE credit for someone posting anonymously. NOT fair and also pretty disrespectful. Please remove that possibility from the chat feature if respondents will be chastised for using what is offered.
There is a lot of confusion about the practical realities of this new commission structure. Outside of this class, one of our brokers proclaimed "It's business as usual, folks." I disagree with that statement.
Easy to work with.
The association is great for all sorts of resources at my fingertips the staff are wonderful whether I am in the office, on the phone or online through chat I get immediate response and answers to all of my questions thank you
I love the training and the trainers
Support provided and can tell everyone genuinely cares
Mail Broker Realtors their invoices vs emailing because TECH CHALLENGED Realtors often
have their invoices go to SPAM/JUNK folders and incur $ 30 late fees EVERY YEAR.
Jessica was kind enough to LMK that I could receive a Test Msg reminder when invoices are due so I requested to receive Text msg reminders. She was very patient in explaining everything!
I like that I can go to Mainstreet website and see how many hours I need to renew my license as a realtor.
Everything! Very responsive when you have a question, great educational offerings, professional standards is terrific, etc.
Fees are high in relation to value added, would be nice to have continuing at courses included in the current fees
I love Mainstree
You disappoint me and a lot of other REALTORS by allowing weak listing companies to dictate policy that is not in any way helpful to us as a real estate community but is in fact only a benefit to companies that do not like competition from stronger companies therefore try to limit them with your assistance. For instance, why am I not allowed branded photos in MY OWN LISTING? This was not an issue in 1989 when I started selling but it has been made an issue over the years. WHY? If my company has the listing, then why should the main photo not be allowed to be shown with my brand and contact info? Because the other companies want to showcase my listing on their site? If they want to advertise my listings on their site then they should deal with it showing in plain view that this is my listing!!! If they do not like this, then they should recruit and hire stronger listing agents and get more of their own listings to highlight on their websites.
This is one of the many BS rules that we are forced to live by that are of ZERO benefit to me as an agent that has faithfully paid my dues for over 34 years!
Ask around - most of the strong listing offices hate this rule with a passion. But you are too busy trying to appease the weak companies out there to really care about us.
Every time I have a question whom ever I’m speaking to is polite and patient 💕
Easy accessibility Nice people. Great instructors
Great Responsive service. Friendly. ALWAYS able to help
Helpful, Knowledgeable and Courteous, Professionals.
No Problems currently excep the big scandels we have had to explain and the commissions that we have to learn how to explain and figure differently. Just more to take us away from the actual selling of real estate.
Appreciate the great service and education offered.
Love it all!
The fees are too expensive. Somehow you need to reduce your overhead.
The dues are kind of steep but you guys offer a lot with them. My biggest problem is how you collect the fees. Why can't you come up with a monthly payment for people instead of a big one right before Christmas? Some of us are new and struggling in the industry right now and we don't have it like that. Some people might be putting themselves in a bind just to pay the dues to be able to keep their benefits. Either you don't understand or just don't care.
Far, far too expensive and we don't care for the hidden means to remove costs associated with lobbying efforts that serve to further corrupt our political system. There are few discernable benefits derived from the $700.00 annual cost other than continued access to the MLS. That MLS access is the only way you can survive so I doubt anytime soon you would make the Realtor dues optional.
I’ve called and spoken to two people. I was going to put my license into holding. My boyfriend’s son passed sway last December. Since then life has been really different. I got my last listing in august. It’s been a nightmare transaction, delayed for months. Well, that deal fell through so i had to reactivate the house this December. I’ve spoken to two people At Mainstreet about this, but still I keep getting calls and emails. All you people want is your money. I realized I was late in paying and told you that. I needed to see if my last deal was going to close in 2023. But it doesn’t matter what is going on in a person’s life… you want that extra $30 late fee plus all the dues! You don’t care what is going on in people’s lives. I’m done with real estate as soon as my last listing closes. Hope you’re happy with my $700 PLUS the $30 late fee.
I don't like being forced to be a member just to get MLS access.
The training offered is sub-par compared to what my brokerage offers.
Stop charging the NAR public awareness fee as mandatory. I don't care if the public is aware of NAR.
Offer real actual health plans with competitive rates and co-pays.
All of my re friends wish you would change the date of dues....on top of all the money spent in December, a huge bill from you.
Your fees are way too high and you offer no payment arrangement like CAR. Agents should be offered payment arrangements. At least breaking down everything in 4 payments. I also think the deadline should be the end of January.
I love the professionalism and education opportunities.
Always with clarity and professionalism.
We are required to be a member, for which we pay large fees. Not sure what you do for us.
