Help Desk.
Always very polite, friendly and helpful.
Mainstreet is easy to navigate. Techs are knowledgeable. However, as a new agent, the fees are heafty and the schedule in which they are due is overwhelming. I started in August, fees were prorated. Then, to turn around & pay more in September made me feel defeated before I even began.
Very Resposive
Every time I ask a question, there is never an instance when it was not answered to my satisfaction. They know what they are doing and are here to us succeed.
Every time I have call in the last 2 years, no one answers the phone, and the feature to tal to some one on the website shows no one available.
Your fees are unreasonable. Heartland doesn’t charge the same

I am unable to truly serve my clients by running my business through Mainstreet. My clients utilize me as a "partner" and when one was out of town, I agreed to be available should she need anything.
I received a call at 9:54pm stating that her neighbor called her saying there was water pouring through their ceiling coming from my client's unit. I rushed over and tried to get my key out of my lockbox BUT... MAINSTREET decided that those in their association are really only Realtors until 9:59pm.... and screw all clients.
I take 6% commission repeatedly. And my ability to not access the key to get into my client's home, was thwarted by Mainstreet. It is incredibly unprofessional on the part of Mainstreet; especially because my ability to do business directly with Sentrilock is also thwarted by Mainstreet.
I have now encouraged all new Brokers and Managing Brokers to think through their relationships and ask themselves: "Is it okay with you that your client has an insurance claim and had to tear down ceilings; tear up floors, and replace all dry wall.... on their dime..... because an association has decided your service has a curfew? If so, what price point ceiling do you think you will attract? What commission percentage do you think someone would be willing to pay? If you are okay with the answers, then join Mainstreet Organization. Otherwise, make sure the Association you join supports you as a business owner and supports the type of relationship you want with your clients. If you want referrals, and you want people to trust that they can come to you for point of contact on everything, you need to join an Association who doesn't limit you and your business growth.
The updates
The people that work there are very helpful. The website is easy to navigate. The CE classes are interesting and well taught. The added benefits such as tech helpline and Forewarn are very useful and appreciated.
