It's just difficult feeling "included" being as far North as we are.

The following is offered in direct answer to your inquiry and is my opinion, based upon 40 years of observations, facts and experience. The First Amendment gives me the right to express my opinion in the form of FREE SPEECH, without penalty. If I answered your direct inquiry with anything less than the following, I would be lying, or omitting facts, which would be to your detriment and improperly skew the results of this survey that you seek.
MORE DOES SO, SO MANY THINGS WRONG:
1) You charge higher fees than many, many alternatives
2) You give away our critical inventory information to competitors like Zillow, Realtor.com and others to eliminate the need for a customer to call a Realtor
3) You illegally and against your own Code of Ethics, discriminate against duly-licensed education schools, restrict trade and force your members to take useless, mundane, repetitive, valueless Code of Ethics classes from your very restricted list of educators.
4) No freedom of choice for education sources from properly licensed educators
5) You push liberal, leftist agendas regarding virtually every woke topic that is, in fact, driven by Socialism/Communist strategies to divide, disrupt and destroy proper Christian and Western Civilization concepts.
6) The NAR, IAR and MORE support one-sided political agendas to the complete detriment to the nation and our future.
7) The funds used by your PAC go for most of the wrong purposes that are based on fraudulent or erroneous ideologies.
8) You charge exorbitant late fees for missing PREPAID FEES' due dates with complete disregard to your members' needs during a phony and unconstitutional lockdown
9) to 50) I could go on with many issues, but they will fall upon deaf ears or become the subject of ridicule or cancellation culture. Complete disappointment going all the way back to 1977 with the things that I have seen. That is why I only do non-MLS commercial for the past thirty years.
Double standards when it pertains to disciplining agents for code of ethics or license law violations. Big volume agents are treated differently than low volume agents.
THE STAFF AT MAINSTREET ORGANIZATON OF REALTORS ARE THE BEST....ANY PROBLEMS, QUESTIONS THEY ARE ALWAYS THERE TO HELP AND SUPPORT !

Fees are to high
By the time you sign up for anything it’s already closed. I really need to sign up for the organization which is near me
Cost too high. Not sure exactly what you provide other than mls. Customer service is always disappointing. I called about transferring my license and no one knew what I was supposed to do.
You provide variety of training with great teachers who have experience in the field and beyond. Also you are always there to answer any questions or concerns I might have.
The tools make the job easier

More distinction between members. Tailor services to individual needs and practices. Some example categories:

Part time successful Residential
Inactive Residential
Full time active Commercial
Part time successful Commercial
Mixed Practice: Residential & Commercial
Specialist: Office Sales, Vacant Land, Condos
Schedule Seminars based on these focused areas.

I always get my questions answered, whether it be from the person who answered the phone- or if they do not have an answer. They make sure someone else does call me back with one. always nice!

Mainstreet is a valuable resource.
While other companies made concessions during the Pandemic, our realtor association never delayed or reduced their fees. Full payments were always due on time. Members have fallen on hard times during this period and the association never acknowledged it. Very disappointing and discouraging.
