The Rockford Bike Shop is such a wonderful asset to our community. Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable..not only about the products they carry but about the biking industry as a whole. Most recently, I stopped in to purchase a bike for my almost-4-year-old grandson. They helped us select a Trek bike that he can grow into, which I truly appreciated. We were also thrilled to learn about Trek’s program that offers a 50% credit toward a future bike as he grows; such a great value for families.

Craig was very thorough and went out in the cold to watch me ride three different models making adjustments as needed. He also went out later to help me load the bike I purchase into my SUV! Nice Job Craig!
Bob was very knowledgeable, and immediately came up with the type of bike I had been considering online. I told him I was looking for a hybrid around $2000.00 and he showed me a hybrid, carbon FX4 bike that he checked tire pressure and then suggested where I could best test ride it. He also offered the option of the FX3, which is aluminum rather than carbon, a little heavier, but was $1200 instead of $2000. After thinking about it for a couple of days and checking things on the internet, I decided to buy the FX4. Bob had it checked over and when we asked for suggestions I could put on my Christmas lists for my kids and grandkids, he had several suggestions. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and did not try to pressure sell higher end bikes. He was also very clear on the warranty and how I should take advantage of the one year free maintenance program.
Fast and affordable, fixed all issues and had bikes back in a couple days. Highly recommend
I like the variety of nutrition options available in the store. I’m looking forward to them expanding their selection of clothing items (especially women’s).
George was very helpful immediately looking at our bikes the week of Iceman for small adjustments and giving us insight into the race!
