I brought my bike in for service mid-ride on a beautiful day and was treated as if I were the only customer for the day - immediate service. Not only was the tire/tube issue resolved, but a couple other minor problems were noted on my bike and dealt with at the same time: a chain with two too many links was shortened and my front deraileur adjusted. The entire time the bike repairman was working on my bike he kept in conversation with both my husband and I as we normally do our own bike maintenance. Learned plenty in the short while we were there.
In addition, the cost of the repair seemed very reasonable.
We left the shop and continued to enjoy the day on the bike - could not have been happier with the service at Freewheel.
I enjoyed the consultative approach that focused on helping me make an informed decision. It was very evident that the goal of the gentleman that assisted my wife and I was to ensure that we identified what our requirements were to achieve our comfort and satisfaction with our bikes.
He was committed in finding the right fit for our goals and provided suggestions and recommendations that were what he believed was the right solution, even when other items would deliver a larger sale.

The Woodbury store matched the price that was tagged on the bike in the Eagan Freewheel store. The price difference was $30 and it just made me feel so much better about the purchase that there was a follow-up and match of the price that we saw when we rode the extra large model of the bike at the Eagan store. I really appreciate the follow-up and will have no hesitancy in recommending the Woodbury store to others.
