Quick and easy - we walked in, my son found a bike he liked, and we were out in 10 minutes. The sales person was very friendly, and offered sound advice, which allowed us to make our decision quickly. Moreover, he didn't pressure us into a bunch of add-ons, which is appreciated these days, particularly since this is a kid's bike.
