I received a coupon for Jiffy Lube via mail. I have been using Jiffy Lube for several years now. I was told the coupon would not be honored. I asked if they could scan for a check engine light on my vehicle. I was told they could. When I left, I forgot to ask about it. Apparently it had not been checked. It was a very disappointing visit, considering I spent around $240 dollars on other services this visit (tire rotation, cabin and air filters, in addition to my oil change). I may need to find another oil change shop for my future needs. This was Monday, late morning, and the shop was not particularly busy. Asked for a simple oil change, filters were pulled out. Obviously to up-charge me but does the include breaking my glove box so it doesn’t close?
I drive a manual transmission. With that said, I'm always concerned when another person drives my car. Upon arrival for my oil change and tire rotation, I was met by a young man who let me know that he commutes to work in a manual. Was pleased to hear this. The remaining staff did was nice and the service fast.
