Very nice, comfortable facility. Not as cold and “sterile” as the larger hospitals. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I have had 3 procedures performed there and have had excellent care each time.

From every moment I was well taken care of. The front desk all the nurses pre and post op and recovery. Billing even was nice and fast

Dr Holt was put on this earth to deliver babies. I could not ask for a better OB.
My concers come from the contradicting information that I would get from nurse to nurse. Such as
1) my nurse told my that cracked bleeding nipples are a sign of a feeding baby, the lactation nurse disagreed.
2) My day nurse took away the ice packs after 36 hours post partum, but the night nurse insisted that I used them.
3) The day nurse said I couldn't skip a pain medication dose, and pressured me into taking it. (I think the drug was called narco?) The night nurse wanted me to listen to my body and take it only if I felt I needed it.
The above are just 3 contradictions of many. It left my husband and I confused and frustrated at times. A unified steam of information would have improved the stay and help us first time parents fell confident in the information that we were receiving.
Fast, efficient and convenient
Everybody was so attentive to my every need, so nice and efficient. Everyone was very busy and you could tell it was a team effort. Even being so busy, I never felt rushed. I felt Like everyone had time for me, spent time listening to me and answering all my questions. I love Dr Knoll, she spent quality time with me and I know She's the best surgeon I could Ever have. The anesthesiologist was very thorough and patient. Everybody was fabulous and I was So happy with everything!!!

Knowledgeable advice and care for my health
When someone comes in for an outpatient procedure and they are nauseous, have a bag in the room. Don’t snatch a dirty trash bag liner filled with gloves, gauze etc and throw it on the bed and stick it in patient’s face to throw up in.
When the person comes out of the procedure, still vomiting and crying with a headache don’t tell them, if it doesn’t get better go to your primary or to the Emergency Room.
I was sick with a headache and severe stomach pain ( vomiting foam) from Thursday until Monday evening. Around 4 pm on Monday I was able to eat 2 saltine crackers, no solid food for 6 days.
I’m not sure if I had an adverse reaction to the colon prep (Gavilyte) but I was definitely in no shape to be released that day. I have had many colonoscopies in the past but this experience was the worst.
I was not sure I was going to pull through this one so I will not ever have the procedure done voluntarily again.
