My go to spot for all my biking needs. Sean is an amazing store mgr and he hires the best of the best. The two new hires I met with yesterday were awesome. They above and beyond to serve me and all of the the other guests as well. Will always continue to be a guest of this location and refer all of my family and friends. The three people we dealt with at Trek in Downers Grove were all good at listening to what we wanted in our E-Bikes. I feel like we got the perfect bikes for us. Very professional and helped us figure out which bikes would be best for our needs. After two weeks of riding our E-Bikes, we love the bikes we bought. Cost seemed a little high for work fone
The team serviced my son's bike immediately and got us out the door quickly and back riding for very reasonable price.
I brought my bike home after a level 2 tune up & immediately tried to go for a ride when the pedal fell off as soon as I put weight on it. I tried to re-attach it myself but it was broken. I brought my bike back in the same day & asked for a fix. The employees did not express any sort of apology and seemed annoyed that I was bringing my bike back to be fixed. I'm still not exactly sure what I paid for since my bike was in worse shape when I picked it up than it was when I dropped it off. This tune up was a scam and the customer service was appalling.

Experienced sales and maintenance crew. They listen well, offering suggestions without pushy upselling.
Defective inner tube. Should not be selling them .take off shelf. Makes customers upset and coming back .lots of trips.

Understand busy season. But instead of telling me it will be ready in a couple days and then me calling on Monday and saying Wednesday, and then calling on Wednesday and saying Friday and me calling on Friday and then saying Saturday. Better to tell a customer we are looking at up to a week out and if you finish before then that is exceeding expectations else it looks bad.

We have only bought a few bicycles over the last 20 years for my wife and I and our two kids but even though we live a few towns away, we have had very good experiences at Trek of Downers Grove so that is the location we have gone to every time when purchasing bicycles. We don't go anywhere else for purchasing bicycles or service. Trek of Downers Grove is great!!
