Very Knowledgeable
Carlos the mechanic was wonderful. not just knowledgeable, but listened and gave me options and proved that he cared. I was going to call you to express my gratitude for how well I was treated on Sunday. Bought two mt bikes from Helen's but moved to the valley, (don't tell anyone I live here) so now I don't come in very often. But when I had a problem with my bike I knew where I had to go.
Thanks for your excellence service. It was great in 1989 and it still is, I'm impressed.

PS: short story, you had two twins working there in 1989 and into the 1990's. One worked with me and we decided the Hard Rock best suited my need.. When I came in to buy it I changed my mind and got the better one, I think the Rock Hopper was the better one, can't remember. Any way one twin scolded the other thinking he talked me into buying the more expensive bike. I had to explain that he did not do that, I choose the better one on my own. It's that level of honesty and attitude you never forget.
Edgar got right on a minor repair last weekend and fixed it immediately

They offered service immediately when I came in. I watched the tech work on my bike and he did a few extras and didn’t even mention it. I appreciate him going above the minimum. My brother was with me and he even said he will go to Helen’s for his bike needs.
My bike was serviced (great) and I bought a bunch of nutrition (great selection). Service is quick and available and the guys working on the bike are kind and explain what they are doing.
Your team is fantastic and you have everything a cyclist could want in a local bike shop!

What I appreciate about Helen's is that it's a place for REAL cycling enthusiasts to go. They speak the language and know the particulars in a way that few people at generic bike shops or a generic sporting goods store (e.g. Big 5) would know. Their prices also seem fair and their selection jives with what I need to have a good riding experience and to be serious about taking care of my health. Bravo and thank you!
