I purchased a Trek Emonda SLR9 from Chain Reaction last year. After about 1,000 miles the right chain stay failed, making the frame a throw away. I dropped the bike off at Chain Reaction with Becky. It took her only two days to get warranty replacement approval from Trek corporate. She called me and had me come down to pick out the frame color for my replacement frame. Once I picked the color it took only about a week for her to get the new frame and reassemble my bike. As usual with a new bike from Chain Reaction it was perfectly assembled and matched the fit from my old bike. Awesome service!
I've bought bikes from other bike shops over the last 30 years and Chain Reaction is the only shop that assembles a bike correctly with no return visits needed to correct issues. Their after sales service is also second to none. I will not buy from any shop other than Chain Reaction in Redwood City. They have repeatedly earned my loyalty for life.
Don was very knowledgeable, friendly and did a great job overall of helping me find the right bike. I will definitely recommend Chain Reaction.

The workers at your store are knowledgeable and precise. I like that your workers are good at what they do, know how to diagnose a problem and/or find parts for my bike. You also have reasonable prices.
I went in on a Saturday and staff was very helpful in showing me bikes that would fit my needs and testing one out. The following Monday I returned to purchase said bike, and the associates were helpful and pleasant, and assisted me with choosing a variety of biking accessories I needed (helmet, lights, gloves, lock). I prefer to patronize small businesses and will definitely be bringing my business back here in the future!

Very helpful and nice to work with on bike products
So appreciate heartfelt service. Bought a product that seemed to be defective... called the manufacturer who directed me to return it to the shop; wasn't sure how it would go. Let me tell you, it couldn't have gone any better. The issue was quickly, kindly and cheerfully resolved. So much so I ended up buying another product while I was there. I bought my first road bike from these guys a million yers ago when they were a tiny shop down the street... love that growth and time haven't diluted the small-town shop ethic that's always made them special. Bravo Chain Reaction.

You asked to keep my bike for maintenance for 5-6 days, ready on a Thursday. I was called on Thursday to pick it up, I didn't get there until Saturday.
You pumped my new tire full of air and told me that if you'd had it longer you could have checked it, but that I should check the pressure in a day and bring it back if it lost more than 20psi in 24 hours.
Guess what happened.
It lost all of its air in 16 hours, and you're closed on Sunday, now I have to find time to bring the bike back over to you to figure out the problem. Wasting more of my time.

Chain Reaction has quite extensive selection (Models and Sizes) of Treks. The store personnel, Becky, is awesome. She knows everything about Trek. And most of all, no pressure, even after spending 1/2 hr getting my test bike ready.
When I'm ready, I'm pretty sure going to purchase my Trek from CR.
Sonia was very helpful and gave me a her time and attention. Great experience overall.

Everyone there is extremely friendly and helpful, and I've never felt any pressure to buy. Last year they were happy to service my borrowed bicycle. This year I bought my own from them, which I love!
