Always great and friendly service
Mike (Chain Reaction co-owner with his brother Steve) are the nicest, most professional and efficient bicycle shop owners you could ever want to know.
We had a problem arise with my husband’s e-bike and feared the worst (dead motor) when we took it in to be diagnosed and repaired. (He has ridden it 16,000 miles in 5.5 years!)
As it turned out it was a wheel hub problem and we just needed to replace the wheel with the worn out hub. Whew! Glad it wasn’t a new motor! Mike diagnosed the problem quickly and he repaired the bike the same day! My husband was thrilled since he rides most days.
You won’t find a more honest bike shop to work with. We have bought two Trek bikes from Chain Reaction and turned my brother-in-law on to them as well. He also bought a Trek Project One.
Mike handles all our bicycle purchases, repairs and we have also purchased some cycling clothes from the shop too.
I highly recommend their shop and support buying well known brand bikes like Trek. (I do not recommend buying cheap bikes off the Internet!) By supporting the Chain Reaction shop we are confident that they will take care of us when we need repair work done.

The Chain Reaction Team are very friendly and helpful. One of the best things is that they are all bike riders of various different experiences, and can really relate to some of the questions about different equipment. I also asked if there was any way my bike could be ready for ride the next morning, and four hours later I got a call and it was great.

One of the best shops I’ve ever used. Becky is a fantastic sales person and it’s neat it’s a family run business. I’ve bought 3 project one bikes from them since 2022. Everything always goes super smooth and Becky pays attention to detail and really tries to meet your needs. This shop is an hour or so drive for me. But I continue to buy new bikes here because of their excellent customer service. They also are just about the only shop that has SLR versions so you can try before you buy. For example even my local trek shops weren’t going to get in SLR versions just SL. Not gonna spend that much money on a bike without trying. All in all very very highly recommend this shop you can’t go wrong.
The Friendly Family Atmosphere. But more important is taking and donating old bicycles to charity. That's great.

Very personable service, which means a lot to me working in a customer service industry myself. My son picked his bike for his Birthday and he absolutely loves it. He also got a helmet and a bell that color coordinated and he couldn’t wait to show his sister and his friends. We will definitely be back.
