Always a great service from Big Bear, I think the young lads name is Harry I dealt with for my service? He is super friendly, very attentive and is easy to communicate with.
Bike rides like a dream now, I like to look after it but I’m no bike mechanic so it needs that experienced touch every now and then.
Alistair is also a key member of the team, he sold me the bike a year ago and I was very impressed by him and that continues to this day. Riding through hubfest yesterday he stopped me to talk and check the bike was good after its service, he didn’t need to do that but he genuinely cares about the company and its reputation.
The only thing I would suggest and this isn’t a negative at all, is have you thought about a portal to check the progress of your bike service and/or your bike order? It would be great to see how long ahead is your bike, you could even suggest fixes on their for customers to approve, upgrades available and then alert the customer when the bike is ready for collection.

The service team went the extra mile to identify and sort the ‘creak’ on my gravel bike.
At no stage was I made to feel like I was worrying over nothing ( even though I’m a grey haired lady rider).
Great service from start to finish. Great communication from Alistair making it a real easy sale. Travelled 4.5hours from south wales to collect the bike and service on site was excellent. Any questions or requests were answered and dealt with friendly and professionally. Would definitely purchase again from Alistair/Pickering store.

Absolutely fantastic service from Big Bear Bikes. Thanks to Oliver, we have a brand new kids bike which was only released a fortnight ago, delivered with awesome communication and service, at a bargain price. These guys really go above and beyond, and we will be delighted to buy our bikes from them again in the future.

Rich was really helpful, encouraged me to try the next size up on a bike which actually turned out to be a better fit and it was no trouble for me to try out a gravel bike Id also been considering instead of a hardtail (although it was quickly dismissed as I could immediately tell it was a terrible fit). I was kept informed about my order progress whilst waiting for it to be delivered and I also got a follow up call the day after I'd picked it up to check that everything was OK. Just really good service all round.
This is the 1st bike in 14 years, that hasn't been an Internet direct order, and the 1st bike I've physically collected from a shop since 2012.
It was very refreshing to have it all built up and set up for me, and the staff spent ample time guiding me through its various features.
I would highly recommend them and their store, which carries a huge range of bikes and accessories to suit all aspects of cycling.
