Excellent, professsional service of my somewhat neglected bike. Everything explained clearly and the work carried out to a high standard.
We purchased a Trek exe mountain bike which fits our needs perfectly, we currently own three Trek bikes between us because the quality of the product for the price we paid is exceptional value for money, we placed our order with Alistair who was very polite and helpful, he then called us back to let us know that the bike was built and ready for collection, when we arrived at the shop Alistair was busy with another customer so he passed us over to his colleague Oliver who spent about an hour with us setting up the bike including the pressure in the suspension front and rear, rebound, tyre pressure, seat height, reducing the handlebar width which meant moving the gear levers, seat dropper lever and the power control switch, he also fitted new lights and grips, nothing was too much trouble and all the staff in store were extremely friendly and looked like they really enjoy their work, when we left our new bike was absolutely perfect and we enjoyed the experience of buying from a shop with quality personal service instead of online, we definitely recommend Big Bear Bikes in Pickering, we couldn’t be happier thank you.

You carried out the repair to my bike's brake ok. I was a bit disappointed that the component had failed after 14 months from new of the bike mainly sitting in the garage, but I understand that Shimano have to approve any warranty repairs.

Smooth online purchase of a new bike and telephone contact shortly afterwards. Technical error in collecting the bike but Staff went out of their way to sort out a personal delivery of the bike straight after the weekend.

Great service with a personal approach. Bike options explained in easy to understand ways with patience and plenty of time for questions. Bike handover was exceptional and having dealt with many independent or main stream stores I would say that this was the best experience for a long time.
