The staff are outstanding. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt quite nervous about trying out electric bikes but all the staff I dealt with put me at ease.
The large car park at the back of the shop is really great for trying the bikes out.

The guys at Big Bear Bikes (Pickering) were very helpful, no questions were too much trouble to answer, even if the question seemed a bit trivial. They didn't try to sell you a bike you didn't really want that was more costly than the one you wanted. In my case they suggested a bike that was less costly than the one I was looking at which suited my type of riding. The shop its self had plenty of variety of different types of bike on displace that the staff were knowledgeable and enthusiastic about . I cannot rate them highly enough.

I've always been a little bit wary of shop sales people as I have had a few past experiences which left me feeling underwhelmed. Thankfully the whole experience with Big Bear Bikes was a good one 👍
My initial emails were promptly responded to and my questions were answered clearly.
A visit to the shop and the 1st meeting with Mike was a positive one, his calm manner and subject awareness was reflected in his approach to any of my questions. A deal and timescale was agreed, deposit taken with no fuss.
The bike was available early which is always a bonus, and I had a further great service experience, this time with Oliver who helped with setting up the bike and adding some last minute accessories. It was good to chat about various biking experiences with Oliver and some of the other staff, it's nice to hear and see that they are passionate about biking themselves.
I can recommend Big Bear Bikes and will be definitely using them again.
