Mrs.Jocelyn and her team are doing outstanding with my son Lucas. They are patient and very understanding. I have noticed Lucas’s engagement going up and I am so grateful to be able to leave my son in the hands of these amazing ladies.
I am a strong supporter of the ymca and love their after school program after making the switch two years ago. Thank you all for all that you do and just be providing a safe place for children to be after school you are continuing to shape our children while giving them support.

Coach Ron is great! We have had a great time each season of basketball over the past six years and will miss the established coaches with our move to Mary Sierra.
Please keep an eye on the coaches who are recruiting kids to their team on teh side and creating an unfair advantage. It's not only unfair to the other teams, but it really isn't teaching the kids on Coach Kevin's team how to be a well-rounded sportsman and he is showing them that it's okay to throw a tantrum when you lose (it's not). His coaching style has bothered me for years - why is he the only coach with an assistant? Couldn't you use more coaches? Why doesn't his "assistant" have his own team? Is the assistant also background screened? Why are they taping games? It's LITTLE KID basketball. You don't need to go home and watch tape! Grateful to never have been put on his team.
We love the YMCA basketball program! Celine really enjoys playing, learning new skills, and being part of a team. It's a great environment for kids to build confidence, learn teamwork, and develop their basketball skills while having fun. We appreciate the coaches and the positive, family-friendly atmosphere. It's wonderful to see kids encouraged to do their best and enjoy the game. We definitely recommend it!
We absolutely love the YMCA! Celine has been attending for two years, and she loves it! Mr. Armani is hands down the best counselor ever, and Mrs. Debbie is just as wonderful! Everyone is so welcoming, understanding, reasonable, and genuinely caring. The staff is amazing with the kids, and the communication with families through email is excellent. It truly feels like a family-oriented YMCA where everyone cares about the children and their families. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend it!

The cleanliness of the facility, the quality of the gym equipment, a place where my kids can also have fun and be surrounded by community... the list goes on. The staff is incredibly nice and willing to help/answer any questions. My family loves the Y!

The after school program for my son has been amazing! The staff are communicative and are great at keeping my son Bryson B entertained. The flexible hours really helps with my work schedule and was thankful for the accommodations in which weeks I needed care and the payments. They are a lifesaver and Natalie is the sweetest. I feel confident in her and her staff and know that my child is safe while he’s there. This is my first year using the YMCA and I’m already looking into more programs over summer for both my children. I can’t be more thankful for the YMCA!

Our experience with the YMCA After School program has been truly wonderful and rewarding. This program has made a meaningful difference in my daughter’s personal, social, and emotional development, helping her build confidence, independence, and valuable life skills. As a mother, I deeply appreciate the safe, supportive, and positive environment that YMCA provides. I am especially grateful for the dedication, kindness, and commitment of the staff. The Y is always clean and neat. The majority of the employees are very friendly and helpful. It a place you can feel comfortable and there is always someone around to help you stay motivated. I love going there to workout. I am 79 years of age and part of my self motivation is the Y and the nice,nonjudgmental people.
Ms Karissa and her team do such a great job with the after school program. My son always has a great time and I would highly recommend it.
I am likely to recommend the New Tampa YMCA because of the friendly staff and the awesome fitness instructors. I take several classes at this locations and the instructors are the best: Chantal D, Kelly C, Debbie F, Shelly T, Val W, and Nicole, just to name a few.
The class participants are also a wonderful group of folks who are engaging. I have make several friends to whom I cherish the friendship. The Silver Sneaker group are active both in and outside of the YMCA.
The lifeguards are also very welcoming. I enjoy swimming at the New Tampa YMCA. The pool is spotless.
The staff are very fair with the kids, teach them accountability and it’s convenient

I love this program!
All of my children have been attending YMCA aftercare at Pizzo since kindergarten. Now I have one child left and she opted to attend instead of getting picked up. I love you guys teaching and discipline and just overall a great experience. Thank you all for what you do!
