"I absolutely love the Campo Family YMCA! The facility is always clean, the equipment works great, and the staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. Whether you are hitting the weights, taking a group fitness class, or bringing the kids to enjoy the pools and waterslides, it is an amazing community hub. I Highly recommend it to anyone.
Excellent coaches and positive environment. Only problem was in summer when weather closed pool, they did a workout. Would rather other times be available like morning or little later evening, let volleyball be early evening when the storms are typically, and swimming later evening. Tampa summers often have the afternoon or early evening thunderstorms.
It provides all around programs for all family members.
This the best place to go. The staff are all awesome from management to the front desk.
I love going it’s like being in a community you meet new people and see old friends you haven’t seen for years. My Zumba instructor Sonya is awesome we dance with joy all her music are uplifting you don’t need therapy. We don’t judge how everyone dance it’s all about you how you can move. Athena has a wonderful crew.

This is a nice facility and they are very nice people that both work there and go there
Recently, the pool has not been taken care of very well though - there was a very aggressive, full-blown algae problem, and the pool needs to be shocked
The last two times I was in the pool, even after a full shower afterwards, there was green stuff coming off of my body onto my towel - that means the algae is still in the pool
The algae will continue to remain a problem ongoing unless you shock the pool and completely eradicate it

The Y ( South Tampa) partnered with Moffitt and offered a 12-week class led by Personal Trainers, Joanne and Jen, to help encourage and strengthen those dealing with Cancer. What a difference it has made through helping to build confidence back and offering a network of people who are going through a similar experience. The Trainers get to know our strengths and limitations and tailor the workouts to benefit us. It's fun too. And nice to get to know some of our neighbors, young and old. We encourage and support each other by showing up. I highly recommend this collaboration.

It’s clean, convenient with plenty of parking! Seems to have numerous ways to exercise and numerous classes.. I especially like the Racquet ball facilities however they seem to need some attention. “Lighting and general maintenance”

It is a very fun place to go and try different activities, meet new people and learn topics I am interested in.
The people that work at the YMCA are always very helpful, when asking questions. Courteous and kind to all people.
