I feel so lucky to recommend the Y because they’ve been such a big help to me as a working mom. Being able to have my son attend the afterschool program right at his school is so convenient and takes a lot of stress off my plate. Knowing he’s somewhere safe, having fun, and being cared for while I’m at work gives me peace of mind. As a mom balancing work and raising my boys, having that kind of support makes a huge difference. I truly appreciate the Y for helping make life a little easier for families like mine!
The entire age group should not be punished for the actions of others. Outside time should not be a privelege or taken away as a form of punishment.
The teachers this year seem much more organized and trained. I love that they always ask for iId’s even if they already know us.
It was my child's first volleyball team experience, and is greatly enjoying it. Learned some new skills, made new friends, thank you!

My daughter has been playing there for about 5yrs now. The Y has allowed parents to introduce the girls & boys to a game that they can potentially love and create a strong bond with others while they develop their skills & teach them about team building at a very reasonable entry level price point. Which for my daughter has allowed her to grow her skills, her confidence and work efforts to where she now as joined a volleyball club. I couldn't thank the YMCA & there staff, volunteers & parents enough for what it has done for her & especially her parents. I'm not sure if we would have placed her into a club at those prices unless we have seen how committed her has become that's to your program. I am quite sure I can speak for all the participants & parents that allow this program to flourish.
The workers for the North Brandon Base program are amazing. My son never wants to leave and has so much fun there! This has been such a blessing to this school year.

It is overall an excellent spot for the kiddos! I do wish there would be more allowed time for the kids to do their homework. Other than that it’s been great!
My daughter is 15 now. She would love it if the South Tampa Y would offer a girls basketball league for girls 14-16. Even if it is just two teams that play against each other, the girls would enjoy it.
I feel like I am part of a family at Spurlino. I went to the Senior Prom and had a fantastic time. I hope they have another one next year!
Good facilitation
Warm environment, good facilities. Appropriate amount of practices and games.
It is a safe place, I had been a member since they open the T. It is not a meet market, where you feel uncomfortable. People are very friendly and respectful. The YMCA personnel is caring, and helpful. There are many activities for adults and kids. Excellent place.
Karissa and the staff at Roosevelt are always so kind, personable and great with the kids! My daughter looks forward to going to aftercare each day!

Awesome
The league promotes good moral values and has high expectations for how the players, coaches, and parents behave during games and practices. It is refreshing to see more being taught than just basketball skills. My son’s basketball skills have improved tremendously through this league.
