Very easy to join and purchase trainer time. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and they have a lot to offer someone who is disabled like I am.
Variety of classes, amazing staff and a feeling that everyone truly belongs.
The staff are friendly.
A wide variety of choices caters for all ages at various times. Facility is clean and staff is friendly and helpful.
staff very friendly and knowlegable
Camp is not school ready or contracted with the Early learning Coalition. It would be within means if a contract was in place. The kids very much enjoyed camp, but we were unable to maintain their enrollment with limited funds.
The staff at the New Tampa location are very friendly and helpful.
I love the location, the ample parking and the super friendly and helpful staff!
The Y is fine.
Regarding your most recent rule change for women's dress code ...
1. There was no "awareness campaign". Even frequent Y patrons did not a. see signage regarding a change b. see signage describing the date of a change c. did not receive a text as to this change d. did not receive an email as to this change. A change like this should have been a campaign where, for at least one week if not more (depending on your patron frequency - you know that better than anyone) - should have been pushed out ahead of time. It should not have been rolled out in a way that made the front desk staff police the dress code on the spot resulting in them having to turn many many women away at the door when they were arriving for a workout in that moment. Poor roll-out ... it was simply implemented, not rolled out. I appreciate the dress code change, but disagree with how it was rolled out as it is creating confusing at check-in. I was not impacted personally, but was told I should have received a text/email ... I did not. And yet, I receive this survey email asking if I would recommend the Y.
2. The verbiage regarding this new rule that sits on the front desk counter does not explicitely state what is not within dress code. I had to specifically ask ... is it low cut tops, midriff showing, booty shorts ...what specifically violates the dress code? No one wants to miss their workout that they carve time out of their busy day for. Staff was able to verbally clarify ... kindof.
So ... the next time you want to roll something out ... think of it as an advertising campaign ... you need to prep everything so it's OVER communicated ahead of time so that when it happens it's an "oh that's right moment" versus a surprise. I feel bad for the front desk staff.
good facility and great people
Great facility and amazing staff members.
Great place to send your kids to summer camp

Your staff are so kind & helpful ~ especially Tim at the front desk. We took our grandchildren & they wanted to be treated they could use the slide. The life guards were excellent & thorough.

It's a great place,,,clean,,, always staffed
Coach Carl is amazing. First Tee is so supportive of my son even with his disabilities.
Tyndale, Eddie, and the rest of the crew are great with the kids. Shelby is very organized and accommodating to the kids needs and this is coming from a special needs parent :-).
Very friendly and helpful personnel. Very clean. Lots of great classes.
There are different programs, staff is super friendly and welcoming
Very well run facility. Staff and class teachers are excellent.
It provides a wonderful channel for kids to play in the nature. It is a good supplement to kid's school experience. Camp is fun and safe.
The biggest issue is the locker room. It is super filthy with blocked toilets due to their old condition and trash all over the floor. My daughter has to hold her nose when in the room and has complaint about it very often.
Even if the facility and its equipments are very old, I think the camp should hire cleaning crew to clean the locker room more often than just at the end of the day.
I've been to South Tampa YMCA where it holds kids summer camps. It is an old facility too but the locker room is tidy and without not flushed toilets.
Without this issue I would give full star rating to Cristina camp.
Family friendly, but the childcare hours are not really great.
It is close to home and has everything I need to get my workouts in. I especially like the pickleball and Kelly is amazing!! Actually wish there was more dedicated space to PB
My 7 year old has been attending the Y Sulphur Springs location and absolutely loves it…& I love it for her too! She comes home happy and is excited to get up and go each and every morning which makes me feel good as a parent while working. I feel like she has grown so much in just a short amount of time. Watching her gain a new perspective on life and a new sense of confidence within herself has been EVERYTHING! The staff is amazing and truly does a great job with their program and the kids that they see and care for each day. 10/10 for me!

Variety of classes. Large gym area. Clean facility.
