New Tampa Y has very friendly and helpful staff. They offer a great variety of classes. I would like to suggest you look into one activity that would be a great addition- I did it up north and I know it is offered over in Pinellas county. It is Cardio Drumming. Great fun

I would recommend the Y to anyone because it caters to al age group. The Y has great programs and a wonderful staff.
The dedicated wonderful coaches who care so much for the kids. They kids are growing in confidence, leadership, and skills!
Close to my home, always machines available (at the time I go). I don’t feel pressured to go. All the staff is very friendly

I appreciate the friendliness of the staff and willingness to “listen” to concerns brought to their attention. I haven’t been upstairs in a while. There have been concerns regarding people sitting on the equipment longer than necessary while looking at their phone. This has been a problem my husband has encountered as well as other members I have spoken with. Thank you for the opportunity to voice my thoughts, good and not as good, lol.

I enjoy the low impact aerobics and the aerobics in the pool. I’m a senior citizen . I would appreciate the large pool’s heater fixed as the small heated pool becomes too crowded.

The after school program at Alafia is great.
My daughter Pepper has been going there for 2 years now and loves it.
She actual gets mad if we pick her up too early.
Jessalyn is always smiling and nice, as is everyone on the team.

The schedule of. Classes is very user friendly.
I like the teachers and my son really like them and love to be there with them, I appreciate their work and help
The coaches and managers are phenomenal. My daughter has played there for almost 2 years and I feel like she has learned so much about basketball this season alone. The volunteer coaches take time out to tell the kids about the game.
There are so many class options and great weight machines. I would like to see a larger space for stretching and doing things like band exercises etc.
Great selection of group classes. Instructors are awesome. Real sense of community.

Better activities for the kids
The site director has been great at working with me to help my daughter with her anxieties at drop off. I appreciate her so much for her help with the transition from home to school.
