We went to the bike shop after we researched on line what kind of "Age Appropriate" bikes we should purchase and what brand of bike we wanted to look at in their store. We were looking at Cannondale and Trek bikes and found out that we both liked the Trek bikes the best. We are over 70 years old and didn't want to spend a fortune on any brand of bike. The Trek bottom on the line called Vere 1 fit our needs the best. We purchased two Vere 1 bicycles and the Lincoln Avenue store will have them delivered to our house. My Chevy Equinox was too small to get two Vere 1 bicycles in the back of it. The Lincoln Avenue Bike Shop let us test ride the bicycles prior to us buying them and this helped us make up our minds on which bike we wanted to buy.
The bike shop personnel were not pushy or know it all types of sales personnel at all. I enjoyed talking to them about bicycles in general because they were easy to talk to about what bikes you like and what type of bikes you have previously owned in the past. I asked a lot of questions about this Trek Vere1 and they were very happy to answer all of my questions very politely. I would highly recommend them if you are looking to buy a new bicycle. I would stop in to their shop because they have many floor models to look at and possibly test drive.

Great staff! They were friendly, professional and attentive to my needs. A spoke had punched through an inner tube. I was certain that I would be asked to leave the tire and to return the following day. Instead, it was immediately fixed and the tire and I were out the door in minutes.
