I really like Trisha, my cleaner, and she does a great job. I love the notes left at end of session when I am not at home. Feel very comfortable having Trisha in my home. She is great to my dog - which is huge to me. I also like the fact that you make confirmation phone calls. I have given feedback verbally and understand that MM is a corporation and you are required to do your follow-up. The only suggestion I would make is that the "limits" on what is allowed in terms of cleaning is somewhat more individualized to the home. For example, I recently had knee replacement surgery and was unable to take my garbage to the shed. I understand that is a service provided at the first deep clean only, but if I could have added that service to my bi-weekly cleaning it would have helped me a great deal.

Cleaning varies from visit to visit. Sometimes the house looks great! Other times not so great. In the past I would call each time I was not satisfied. You always sent someone out again if I wanted you too. But I got tired of calling and would just end up dusting or clean what was forgotten myself. There have been a few times the beds have been made but look very sloppy. Considering the amount of money I pay per cleaning there are some days I just don't think I got my money's worth. But again, I feel it's not worth calling each time - it's more of a hassle. This is why I would not recommend a friend.

Judy went above and beyond a few times! My dog went the bathroom on the floor once and she cleaned it up. I really appreciated that. That certainly was not part of the job description. Another time my basement door blew open. She shut it and left me a note to let me know. She also called later that night to check and make sure it was ok. I thought it was so kind and thoughtful of her to call and check.

There was a team, two women, who came out one day, it was a snowy day but can't remember the date, and they did a fabulous job. Everything was cleaned very thoroughly top to bottom. I was very pleased with that cleaning! We have a big house. I think it might be beneficial if a team of two came out every time.

Pay attention to detail. Don't put silver in dishwasher. dust in corners of ceiling

I love the cleaning that Theresa is doing. I worry that she will not always be available to clean my house. It took a few different staff before we were lucky enough to have Merry Maids assign her to our house. She embodies the Merry Maid promise. I do not have a small house. I do not understand why there aren't two people cleaning the house. I am planning on adding rooms to be cleaned, and I would hope that the previous policy of having two people for a larger home would be reinstated.

I don't feel that this business pays attention to its customers. I have called about preferences, spoken to managers, and yet still it seems I get someone new who has no idea what I've asked for. I called with a concern about my last cleaning, was told by the manager that I'd get a call back after she talked to our cleaning person, have not heard back from her and it's been a week.

Provide more specilized services as the customer may need besides the usual cleaning.

Cheryl and Judy are the two Merry Maids who usually come to our home--we request that they are the ones who come, when possible. They are efficient and personable, and we are often here when they are working, so those qualities are important to us.

Cleaning staff are good but the administrative staff leave a lot to be desired. 90 % of the time one has to leave a message and they do not always call back.

More attention to detail when cleaning

No only do the Merry Maids do a great job, but they also are on-time, efficient and easy to communicate with.

Thesesa is the best and very thorough, reliable, and considerate. Other cleaners when she can't make it are inconsistent and administration is unreliable. Still waiting to hear back , (over 6 months!,) about an issue that I called about a number of times ...

The cleanings are ok and the staff is friendly, but in each cleaning items are missed and there's consistently not enough attention to detail. Surfaces (including in the bathroom) are wiped down but not scrubbed well enough to be truly clean.

My place should sparkle after Merry Maids have been here and that is not happening. I hired Merry Maids because my doctor ordered that I not be dealing with dust due to my chronic degenerative lung disease. What I have discovered is that the Maids do a good job once and it's downhill from there. I am tired of finding dust and debris in my place AFTER my maid leaves. Dirty fingerprints on the Frig and woodwork. I do not like to complain because I don't want my maid to get into trouble. She is a nice person but I have watched her clean and she is not cleaning, sanitizing, wiping down all knickknacks, etc. She is not moving things that can be moved easily and cleaning under it. The best job she does is the bathroom. I can't believe that there are cobwebs on my kitchen window on the inside. I am fast coming down to the end of my year contract and I will give you a "heads up" that I will be done with Merry Maids then and will employ another service.

I've come to accept that unless I do it myself, the floors will never be cleaned to my standards. Strengths of Merry Maids staff (at least First name removed and the woman who came with her) are dusting, cleaning the tubs, toilets and sinks, wiping kitchen counters. These are big time saves for me in my cleaning, and so I view it as worth having done, even though floors are never really thoroughly cleaned. (In fairness, I stand by my position that they are expected to clean more in a 3 hour window than anyone could. I need 4-5 hours to do this house thoroughly myself.)

They need to clean better, lots of things are left behind without cleaning or not cleaned well..,

I love that I have the same person each time - Nancy is awesome. I love coming home after she's been here.Fantastic job!

There is some inconsistency in the cleaning depending on what team cleans on any given week.

The Merry Miads are very friendly, efficient & thorough.

I sent an email to Amanda regarding my concerns. She has addressed my concerns.

I have had several recent disappointments -
1. Not having the same crew every week when specifically requested and told that this would be the case
2. Picture frame was broken in December; I sent an email with a picture of the damage, did not receive a response, and I had to call again - leaving a voicemail. I got a voicemail from someone at Merry Maids and I returned the call, again leaving a voicemail - since then I have heard nothing.
3. A hair clip was broken on this most recent visit (Feb 6) with no note. Additionally, the floors in the baby's room were not cleaned thoroughly.

To say that I'm severely disappointed is an understatement. I am planning to cancel our service with you.

The price is very competitive. They do a great job cleaning, and the office is very responsive. It's great how easy it is to communicate with the office and the maids that come to the house.
