Very clean
everything is fine
Very thorough. I am missing a gold hoop earring that I wonder if the girls put somewhere to keep it away from our new kitten. It was on my bedside table (the
Unfortunately we have had to call about cleaning not being thorough as far as dusting and sweeping in all rooms and it still is not happening. We also left a written message to please call or text when done so that we could lock the doors by remote and that did not happen and our back door- outside was left open. We worry about negativity because of access to our home.
Cleaning is fine, prices are high
My experience was unique where I was using gift certificates that were 7 years old; however, expiration date stated there was none, after contacting local office in July, I dealt with 4 different women; the first woman was extremely nice and helpful but then I never spoke to her again. Only one woman (maybe because I was using gift certificates and wasn't interested in signing up for 16 month program was rude and I couldn't wait to use the certificates and be done. I paid $170 for a DEEP CLEAN for small kitchen and 3 bathrooms? it was not a deep clean. Although the man who came was very pleasant and nice, not sure if it was communicated that it was a deep cleaning job? Price seemed high for what I had done, took over 3 months to try and coordinate a date and the last women I dealt with was not nice.
I loved the way the hardwood floors looked. I never get them streak free like that.
I like the products you use! My appliances & tub/sink fixtures have not shined like this in a long time!' They even cleaned the inside of the toaster oven!
I am very pleased & have already recommended your services to my friends!! The people who came Belina & Joseph deserve a 12!!!
We had a list of things we wanted completed, went over them with a very professional contact person.Found when the cleaning team left some of what we discussed to be cleaned was not ever touched. we were surprised that merry maids would not complete the job we had paid for.
The cleaning is inconsistent.
Consistency of cleaning could be better
I like the fact that Merry Maids is always trying to do better. They try to be consistent with sending the same cleaner(s) to our home
Lately there have been different workers showing up to clean and results are inconsistent. The most annoying thing is when they take the liners out of trash cans and don't replace them (leaving them unlined).
While we have had only 1 cleaning-it was great. The set up of the cleaning was good too!
I don't like dealing with your front desk personnel. I find them unpleasant.
I don't have time to do it and I don't have to worry about it. The past few times, the house was cleaner than prior cleanings.
Nancy went above and beyond this week when the sheets were unable to be found she found a set of sheets in the closet that we use for the bed and made the bed. I found the missing sheets in the hamper with the dirty sheers. I enjoy having Nancy clean my home.
House smells and is clean, ladies professional and thorough, ladies friendly
I had taken the day off work and expected help to arrive between 9 and noon. She arrived at 12:30 and I had to stop at 2:30, so I did not get a full day in for my cleaning project. She was very good and we did get a good deal done, however.
The maids are rarely the same anymore and even though there is supposed to be a summary of what to do in our file, many things do not get done:
-The garbage from the 2nd floor is left on the 1st floor instead of in the garbage in the garage
-the garbage in the kitchen compactor is never emptied
- The room listed as getting "extra attention" is has been the hall/stairs, hall, stairs or foyer. These are the "rooms"that require the least attention.
-micowave is never cleaned
-soap scum remains on tiles in the shower
-kitchen sink is never cleaned
Merry Maids has been a "God-send." You have enabled me to rest with comfort that my disabled brother's apartment is cleaned on a regular basis. I cannot tell you how grateful I am.
Reliable service
just two small things, in the bathroom the light bulbs were not cleaned above the mirror and the blinds were cleaned but left some wet dirt that I cleaned up myself. But the two women who cleaned my apartment were awesome, and so fast - they did a fantastic job - was so happy! thank you again!
The communication regarding who will be coming to the home to clean. There are weekly calls to remind the client of their cleaning and it would be great to also state the person assigned.
The workers are friendly & the house smells clean.
Great job. Thorough. Efficient.
Deep cleaning service - I found what looked to be cat litter on a bathroom wall from previous occupant. Trash not emptied, dog bed not vacuumed, crud under bathroom faucet where fixture meets vanity.
From many years' experience, I've already recommended Merrymaids to people in need of a cleaning service, and would continue to do so. You can accommodate clients who request environmentally safe products and, with decent notice of course, schedule changes, and cleaning is always done well, with special respect for objects or surfaces that require careful handling. If you are short-staffed one day, you can still see that the cleaning gets done, though some adjustment may be needed as to time of day; only rarely does it need to happen on a different day. (In either case, if you do need to make such an adjustment, please be sure to contact the client that morning; some of us are at home that day, and like to know our day's schedule!)
However, when the company branch was smaller, under the conscientious management of Amanda Ellis, and located in my neighborhood, it seemed more responsive to customers' wishes. Now that the branch is more centralized, teams often have long commutes, which can create problems in bad weather and heavy traffic. Again, I'd suggest that teams stay in touch with the office via cell phone, and that the office pass on the message of delays as needed.
I would like to commend Tricia as the best of a good staff of cleaners whom you've assembled. She strikes me as the kind of person whom you eventually want to promote to management. All Merrymaids team members and office staff are friendly, easy to communicate with, and do a good job.
Another suggestion: clients should be e-mailed in hot weather and reminded (tactfully) to leave their air conditioning on so that teams won't be working in a hot environment. I think leaving the AC off during the day results from mere absent-mindedness; people forget to re-set their programmable thermostats, and they could use a gentle nudge. If this is necessary even in New England, how much worse it must get in the warmer areas where Merrymaids has branches.
The folks who come to clean are lovely. When they leave, you have your clean house back.
As time has gone on (I began with the service in June 2013), cleanings have gotten less thorough.
In addition, often when I contact the office, I do not get a response.
For example, I recently emailed the office on 12/11 about my cleaning on 12/10. I have not received a response. Yet, I am getting this feedback form.
