How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

The MM staff is super friendly and nice, however I continue to be frustrated with the lack of attention to detail. Aside from the first time, the cleanings are not nearly as meticulous as I would like or expect.

A more thorough cleaning job. For example, there were some snacks on the floor, just at the edge under a chair and they were still there after the cleaning.

The cleaners need to pay attention to detail. If there is a bottle cap on the floor I do not want to come home and find the bottle cap in the same place.

For the most part my maid is good. She has how ever broken a couple of items, gotten some kind if bleach like cleaner in my shower curtain and left white spots. She has gotten oil airfreshener all over my bathroom wall by plugging it in upside down twice!
And the price is steep

Women who clean the desk are great and clean the house well.

Front office not so much. They do not listen and I do not like speaking to them.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

For how expensive your services were, I expected top notch, eye on detail service. Small things like cleaning under the edge of the kitchen sink, missing mildew around the valves in the bathroom etc. are not what I would expect after paying almost $400. I was disappointed that after spwndingn all that money, I still had to go over the fine details myself.

What do you like about our services and the products used in your home?

The woods floors were cleaned with vinegar and water. The were shiny the way a floor should be after cleaning,
My home was given a deep cleaning.
We were pleased with the manner in which the two ladies cleaned our two floor home.
It took them 4-hours and the kitchen being the last room cleaned we know the were tired as there were things in the kitchen that were not cleaned example refrigerator door and other small areas.

We have had to sign an agreement for a year, we do hope the regular cleaning is good.

Things were skipped , just top cleaned
My first cleaning didn't go well at all
You came back the next day and it was very cleaned
Today was my second cleaning, and I'm not happy
I don't want to keep having someone come back

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

There have been several issues. The biggest is that cleaning is supposed to be done by 3:00. Often, this has not been the case. Sometimes, they go through the house very quickly and do not do the work they are supposed to do. A new crew has been coming, and that has been better, but the work has been very uneven. It seems that the salespeople are better trained than the cleaning people, if you know what I mean.

Very difficulty to get in contact with company to schedule home visit.
Lack of flexibility with home assessment (before giving the price)
Extremely over-priced
Cleaning was decent, but it looked like a vacuum bag was dropped at the top of our stairs and not cleaned up. There was a pile of dirt/rocks

The cleaners do a great job. As I've stated many times before, I believe I'm overpaying for your service which prevents me from leaving a tip. Many of my friends would be unable or unwilling to afford your service. Also, we've had some trouble with timing and with the cleaners leaving trash in inappropriate places.

Most of the cleaners that came to our house didn't do a good job.

Now I have Theresa and she is the best. She cleans so well.
The only way I would recommend Merry Maids to anyone is if they can make sure they have Theresa.

I don't know, I don't get that fresh, wow, feeling when I walk in the door after Merry Maids has been to the house. I use to get it when I had a private party clean my house. The house
has occasional spots, like shelves, that are missed and I never get "excited" by my cleanings. I don't know what to recommend but I don't feel I can recommend you to a friend or business associate.

What could we do to improve?

Increase the thoroughness of the cleanings -- dust chandeliers and ceiling lights, dust under objects on tables and bureaus (not around them which leaves a ring of dust when the objects are moved), dust everything underneath furniture (like a dining table with a pedestal in the middle or piano pedals), make sure the vacuum or mop gets into the corners.

What could we do to improve?

I really like Trisha, my cleaner, and she does a great job. I love the notes left at end of session when I am not at home. Feel very comfortable having Trisha in my home. She is great to my dog - which is huge to me. I also like the fact that you make confirmation phone calls. I have given feedback verbally and understand that MM is a corporation and you are required to do your follow-up. The only suggestion I would make is that the "limits" on what is allowed in terms of cleaning is somewhat more individualized to the home. For example, I recently had knee replacement surgery and was unable to take my garbage to the shed. I understand that is a service provided at the first deep clean only, but if I could have added that service to my bi-weekly cleaning it would have helped me a great deal.
