What could we do to improve?

When we first signed up with Merry Maids, Sharon was our regular cleaner, and we were quite happy with the service. Sharon eventually left the company, and since then we have had several different cleaners, and no one team consistently. The quality of the cleanings has varied considerably. Also, my entry way (mud room) was included in my original pricing, and Sharon cleaned it each week. It has bot been regularly cleaned since Sharon left the company. I need to follow up with the company and discuss this.

Your prices are too high, and I don't feel that bathroom surfaces were completely disinfected.

There's no need to make things right.... The contract is finished, and we are not renewing. It's water under the bridge now. It was, however, a full year of poor quality. Baskets not emptied, floors not vacuumed, bathrooms not cleaned... Chalk it up to experience.

What could we do to improve?

More attention to detail in the cleanings and better response time from the office. I sent an email regarding some issues with my cleaning last week, and I still have not had a response 6 days later.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I have been a customer for quite a while and am very disappointed. Whenever I need to call to change or cancel (which is not very often) I am given a very hard time. In fact one time the woman would not even confirm that I wanted to cancel and sent someone anyway! All I ask is to be treated with a little more respect.

What could we do to improve?

My last cleaning looked a little rushed (kitchen island not wiped, range hood not scrubbed (I requested special attention to the range hood at every cleaning). Maybe because I'm generally a neat housekeeper, it might seem like my home doesn't need the level of attention as others? Hoping that's not the case.

Mostly, I'm happy with the service thus far!

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

During the initial cleaning time was taken to make sure all flooring was clean. The first regular cleaning, it appeared that the family room floor (around the carpet) was not mopped. There was food (from my toddler) still on the floor. The kitchen floors also had some dirt, grime, and food stuck to it. It appeared as though the mop went over it but no real effort to clean them was made. We have a lot of hardwood floors. It is one of the reasons we are willing to pay for professional cleaning. We want it done right. However, I need to redo it. To make it right, I would like them cleaned with water and vinegar and double checked to make sure all spots (especially the main areas) are gone. In the other areas (formal dining, stairs, hallway, entryway and study), a quick mop wipe is fine but not the kitchen, dining room, or living room. They are highly trafficked by a toddler!

Theresa continues to surpass expectations. The office has now communicated 2 weeks in a row that there is an appointment. This is forward progress. That said, the office continues to have poor communication. If it were not for Theresa's continued excellence, I would terminate the service.
