Its all good
We hired them to clean our house for the new people who moved in the next day. I went back in the evening to drop off the keys and to make sure everything was good to go.
Microwave was broken and the house wasn’t clean at all. Dirt piles in every corner. Dog hair covered the carpet on the side of the walls and and and…. I had to go back to town to get tools to fix the microwave and clean the whole house again. I basically could have just done it myself, which I did and they still charged me. That was my worst experience I’ve ever had.

The communication beforehand, confirmation of day and time is great. The cleaners are always nice and leave my home looking better than it was before they came.

The bathrooms were spotless!
However, the floors were not done to my satisfaction. I left a message for the Bellingham office asking for a walk through, I asked for this before the job was done, and I also left the phone message asking for a walk through after the job was done.
No one made any contact for my follow up after the job was done.

Begin by showing the client the list of tasks to be performed for the day so as to more clearly communicate what to be expected. When necessary, replace vague words such as "dust" with detailed meaning such as "use glass cleaner to wipe the glass coffee table" or "wipe down the tiles on the fireplace," etc.
The ladies did an excellent job, I have zero complaints. I also like that my house did not smell like chemicals, or really anything. I used a different company one other time, and had to reclean everything. I am super happy with Merry Maids.
Stop sending new people each visit. The cleaners need to be able to remember how we want things done from visit to visit.

Missed cleaning the floor in several important areas including the food pantry and hallway closet. Also under fridge. (although I did not specifically request that) Did not ask us to do an inspection after they finished so I could have pointed out areas as unsatisfactory. Did not thoroughly clean hardwood floor with mop and wood floor cleaner which I specifically asked for. I think it was just vacuumed which did little good. I would like them to return and do the wood floor again.

Was easy to schedule with them. A slight miscommunication on my part which they easily rectified!!
They did a great job in some areas. However, after they left and we took a closer look, we noticed all the places they had missed. My husband and I spent several hours finishing what they didn't do. We had new renters moving in that evening. I feel $717 plus a $45 tip was way too much for what they actually did.
Prices are high. Maintain quality but manage price increases carefully. Everyone has a price limit
Soap scum still on bathroom countertop , many areas only partially dusted, many areas untouched including one entire bedroom which was superficially vacuumed but not dusted, kitchen floor still had spilled drops after it was supposedly washed, countertop under laptop not cleaned. Cleaners worked at a glacial pace leaving them rushed at the end. The cleaner threw clean towels on the dirty floor when cleaning the downstairs bathroom then hung them up when she finished. I had to dust, spot wash the floors and wash all the bathroom towels after they left. Dust and debris left under the entry rug where the rug anti slip liner was all bunched up, not laid flat.I was told repeatedly that you wanted me to be happy with the service but when I mentioned the missed parts, one of the cleaners started arguing with me and said they couldn’t stay any longer.
The kitchen cabinets and stove top were nicely cleaned, as were the windows. The house was cleaner after they left but not anywhere close to what you promised me and definitely not worth what you charged.
The price ended up being higher than my budget could afford. $80 per person per hour is too expensive. Also, there were a ton of spots left on my stainless steel dishwasher. I took a picture and sent it and thought someone should have been sent back out to take care of it. Instead, I was told they would take care of it the next visit, which would have been a month. Also, some areas weren't dusted.
The cleaners were on time, efficient in their work and did a very good job. They were pleasant to work with and professional.
