It takes most of the chlorine small out of the water but not all of it. The water is soft. And the R/O function as it should. The system is very expensive compared to others. All in all we are satisfied with our new water system. Thank you.

Compared water softener proposal to one from a local plumber, Culligan had better install options, as well as payment options, including the rental service price which bundled the salt delivery and install. Plus Karen's explanations and offer to come inspect work and re-test water was helpful . While overall price of unit was higher- I felt the monthly price with options was better for us, as we've never had a water softener system before, and the whole salt delivery and monitoring of it was daunting from the local plumber, who didn't offer salt delivery. And would leave it up to us to determine when we needed to add salt. No thanks. Adam the installer was super friendly and neat and explained everything and labeled all the valves so I knew what was what.
