Lots of options for different types of classes and different types of exercise.
It’s new/updated, clean and has the equipment I need.
I like the convenience of where it is located for me.
I would recommend it to others, but not until more things are completed. Small things can make a huge difference.
What still needs to be fixed are the shower doors (even if temporary curtains could be put up, while waiting - HUGE inconvenience). Clocks! My time there is configured into the rest of my day. When I can't shower there comfortable, I have to go back home, before continuing my day. TV coordination with the cardio machines - it's bad, or non existent. Weight machines are deteriorating rapidly. 'Leather' is cracked, and weight pegs are missing. New rubber mats are needed. Stretching area, under the torn punching bag, is not enough dedicated space. The turf is not comfortable, or convenient. Towels are not replenished in convenient areas often enough.
I still haven't received the 25 bonus points for each of surveys one and two. And yet, I keep coming back, hoping you will remedy these things.
I like the hours mainly and that there are lots of machines.
Great environment and equipment. Reasonable membership fees.
The bathrooms/showers/hot tub area needs more/improved ventilation. It feels gross down there.
The last time I was there, there were no clean towels, the snack bar was closed and the pool area was filthy as were the bathrooms. One person working the front desk and I think that was it besides the lifeguard that left at their time. The pool was busy and the slides were closed for the kids and the ropes were in the outside pool that made it difficult for anyone to be able to enjoy the pool. Such a step down from Prairie Life fitness. So disappointing.

Ensuring towels are available in evenings …. Having some assistants go check to make sure weights and tools are in proper place . I always see trainers trying to do it , but not sure who else is supposed to be scowering . Even if they checked every 90 minutes ……
This summer, I got tired of the kid private lessons interfering with the regular adult swim times. Also, too many times the pool temp was frigid. When I spend an hour in the water and and never warm up, the pool is TOO COLD. I loved working out in the pool and lost weight and built stamina, but haven’t been in 7 weeks because of these reasons.
It looks like a genuine place for everyone to work out and do whichever exercise they want.
Keep the locker rooms cleaner.
Have more mature help - ones that know how to look for ways to keep the club cleaner and rules followed. They get very lax in the summer when kids are out of school and do not know weight room etiquette and many do not clean up after themselves.
It would be nice to have management make regular rounds around the club, to interact with members, make sure things are in order, and just bring a goodwill atmosphere to all who come.
Have special days for a free friend to come, or special pricing for a family member who is visiting for a week, instead of $15 a day for a guest.
The floor in the exercise room is seldom clean.
I have worked in a professional club in the past and it was always clean and a lovely place to go to and work out, use the spa, and enjoy the atmosphere.
This is the cleanest club in town! All the staff and other members add to a great enviroment.
Make sure all your torn, cracked, or missing bumpers/pads on equipment and machines are replaced.
broken equipment...I'm not sure how hard it is to look after and maintain the equipment if that is the key item that Genesis makes money. Every time I get to the club there is another piece of equipment that is broken. Spend some money once in a while and get new equipment, or reduce the price of membership.
More friendly staff. More towels. Newer equipment. New weights, mats in the studios.

There are several items that could use maintenance. The basketball area has a hole in the drywall and the basketball goals could use some TLC. Padding is coming off one of the goals and both rims could be tightened up. The emergency exit on the track has a gap between the door and floor. Men's bathroom behind the cafe has drywall damage behind the door.
I have been a member of the club since it opened in 2005. The club is no longer well maintained. Cardio machines are old and dirty. The entire interior of the club needs a refresh. I acknowledge that the locker rooms are currently being re-done, but that work is long overdue. Throughout the club, the carpet and paint need to be updated. The kids' club also needs attention. This past weekend, the air conditioner wasn't working in the kids' club, which is unacceptable (and unsafe) in August.
The gym is going downhill very quickly. It’s not being maintained to the same standard that OneLife did and I’m sad to see it and not getting the same value for my money. It looks like no one cares about the gym anymore.
I tried to call and ask for a manager to talk to someone but they were not in with no offer to let me leave a voicemail. Some of the items of concern:
1. The gym is very dirty now - it’s not being cleaned properly or enough in the equipment area or the locker rooms. The lockers are never wiped out. I see the same dirt and hair in the same places each week. Look at the corners, look around the equipment, drop something on the floor and bend down to pick it up and you are faced with someone’s hair or dust or dirt. Very gross.
2. Equipment is broken and not fixed for months. The adductor/abductor machine is one that is very important for my workouts and it’s been broken for months. Is anyone doing checks or maintenance??
3. Abs mats are ripped and need to be replaced
4. Various places of the floor are coming up and pieces of the wall are coming off. It looks bad and also is a tripping hazard
5. Most of the clocks aren’t set to the right time
Gym is rarely if ever cleaned. Machines are regularly out of order for months or even years. Pool is disgusting. Locker room is neglected. Management seems nonexistent. Only draw to the gym is the high quality equipment which will only remain so for a limited amount of time due to the negligence of the staff.

It's always clean. Easy to get a machine most times when I go to the gym. Friendly crowd.
The women's restroom is often out of toilet paper. The gym is often out of clean towels.

The staff leadership, particularly Kris Lumm, makes members feel welcome and appreciated each and every day. Also, the equipment is a good variety and quantity.
Convenient and classes for all levels and interest.
I don't understand if you say you are opening for instance Sunday at 8:00am no one shows up until 8:15 or later. That is not acceptable.
