Space, variety of equipment
There is no sound from the TV’s at my club (103rd & Barkley, Overland Park), and I have asked management.
I love the variety of group classes, the instructors are wonderful. I enjoy the pool and hot tub also.
Broken equipment, dirty, stinks, locker rooms are a mess... most lockers don't work... won't lock.
Things are some better but the yoga room and power room are still dirty.
The club has a great location with a parking structure next to it. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Over all the facility is keep very clean.
Some of the equipment is a little dated but everything is kept in working order. I see the individual who repairs equipment going through several times a week. The gym staff have mentioned new equipment will be coming soon to add more variety.
Over all, a very positive environment.
Cleanliness
workout space
The Cass location usually smells pretty bad, which leads to believe that it isn't cleaned regularly. The paper towel dispensers are usually always empty and just have a roll sitting next to it. Some of the treadmills don't work but don't have out of service signs on it.
It’s just much more busy than the old timers are use to.
Wide selection of machines. The club isn't so crowded that you have to wait for machines or equipment to use.
Another leg extension machine.
There are 3 leg curls and only 1 leg extension machines.
Great water aerobics classes. I like the number of classes and various times held. Friendly staff.
I blew out a tire on my new car in the horrible parking lot last month. Painful experience. Cost me over $200 for a replacement, plus the time & effort to get it all done.
Clean, open and airy
You lied to me when you enrolled me; I tried for months to resolve the situation and nobody was ever available to speak with me nor would they ever call me back. This was the worst experience with any fitness club I have ever had in my life.
Pool
wish you would fix the wifi so that i could work at the pool while my family is swimming. dont understand why this continues to be such a problem.
Employees are very helpful
Lots of equipment, large floor area, towels, pool, sauna.

I really like the Genesis health club on Cass street. The people are very friendly and the hours are great. Enough equipment for everyone, I have never really had to wait for any of the Machines.

The water filter needs changed. It has been flashing red which needs changed for over the past 2 months. Towels, water bottles, chapstick, plastic toy, headphones, weights, and equipment are just laying around doesn’t get picked up or organized. Pretty said a large company would manage a gym like this. It is not just this location. It is all of the locations.
Fix the machines. Torn pads, TV s that don't work or have no sound.
