Experienced trainers, multiple choices of training equipment

I’m sure once the club is remodeled I would recommend it.
Number and variety of exercise equipment. Friendly staff and clean facility.
For past 2-3 years, same machines are still out of order and when 3 out of 4 are not working, hard to get things done, always have to find alternate.
Also, no Covid protocol at all, management doesn't even practice safety.
This, have not been going there much at all.
Do not feel safe and certain. Machines always out of order.

The many many machines available so I don’t have to wait.
The locker rooms are very dirty in total incongruence with the current need to maintain a sanitized environment. Please, take seriously the cleaning of the location and make sure that your staff set the example of how to maintain
My favorite are the classes offered at Genesis.
Locker rooms need to be upgraded.
Larimer County is under a mask mandate. A large percentage of people are not wearing masks. I don’t feel safe at the gym. I have not been in three weeks. I am considering dropping my membership.
This health club has gone downhill ever since the ownership changed. There is equipment on the floor that has been broken for months ( arc trainers). The carpeting on the workout floor is fraying and has holes in it. The entire club is in desperate need of a deep clean. The carpeting in the women’s locker rooms is dirty as well as the showers. The water in the showers is quite often boiling hot or ice cold. I would be embarrassed to recommend this club to anyone.
Variety’s of equipment and locations
I mean really I am pretty satisfied at this time. I don’t use the gym as much as I used to, but it’s still a nice outlet. I do think the South gym could use an update as it feels pretty dated. The outdoor and indoor pool feel particularly lackluster considering they could be pretty awesome with just a few cosmetic touch ups & thoughtful amenities.
Raise the rates so less people will join. It’s too crowded. I’d pay higher rates knowing there will be a machine open.
The culture is supportive.
It’s easy to find space to do ab work and the machines are in good shape.

Been going here for over 5 years, nothing to complain about
the gym has been in various states of disrepair for the duration of my membership. missing ceiling tiles and a leaking roof are not unusual. and the workout equipment needs maintenance. worn out bearings, missing bolts, and fraying cables are common.
The reasonable rates and the location at Mills Civic is superb!
Wonderful club, love Genesis!
I have been going to that health club since it opened like 20 years ago. It has really gone down hill since Genesis has bought it... and even worse recently (there must have been some management change in the past couple months). They are always out of towels and they have reduced hours on weekends that make it impossible to enjoy my workout on Fridays and Saturdays... there are tons of people trying to get out before they close... I have had to wait for a shower and the steam is standing room only at the end of the day.
I would never recommend Genesis... it is way too crowded as it is... more people will only make it more uncomfortable. No one wants to go to a gym where you need to wait in line to use the equipment... which is absolutely the case at Genesis... especially on Fridays and Saturday evenings.
But, I continue to hear promotions on the radio to lure new customers in... its a great time to be an owner for sure... not a customer/member.
I would be nice to see some of the equipment repaired or replaced. For example, the tricep pull down rope is so thin from use and almost all the stair masters don't work.
I like everything. I understand during this time there is a shortage of staff, but there is one
I've noticed that needs to be addressed. The yoga room floor is very dirty, please make this a priority.
value and number/convenience of locations
I love the Centerra location and I'm so sad to hear about it closing. I have been taking the bodyflow class for several years and I love Nannet. Her class is at lunchtime and it's so convenient to get there at noon and leave at 12:45.
Please reconsider closing this location or giving us so good alternative other than having to go to another club far away.
Pay the cable bill and try better at employee moral.
Best gym in Lawrence with good staff.
