The way the coaches push you to meet your goals. How they always seem on top of timing and make the workouts fluid, fun, and challenging. I like how the coaches get to know everyone's names and will interact with you personally throughout. Bringing a real friendliness to the community.
The challenge
I like the variety a lot. The intervals of base, push, and all-out help to motivate me to make the effort and know that it only lasts for a minute or two. I like knowing that the instructor is there to correct form and prevent me from injuring myself.
It’s efficient and you can work at your own level without holding the class back.
I like the mix of cardio and strength and that they are separate. I also like that you go at your own pace in the weight room. I think that is really important for being able to maintain proper form. I have done workouts where they try to combine cardio with weights. It's hard to maintain form that way and you can't do either well. I need to focus on one thing at a time.
I also really like the variety of exercises and the changing focus of the workouts: endurance, strength, power (I like strength and endurance the best). Classes I have done in other places were often extremely repetitive and I really like the way Orange Theory mixes it up.
Finally, I've always enjoyed the coaches I've had at Orange Theory, but I'd like to give special kudos to Kristana and Jay at U-District. They are always so enthusiastic and motivating, and give good tips to improve your form. I'm always happy to see it's one of them listed for the class I'm signing up for.
Each instructor is really knowledgeable and spends time getting to know you. They help to make sure you are doing the workouts correctly and avoid injury. Very friendly.
OTF U District goes above and beyond to ensure safety during this ongoing pandemic. I love that every day is a different workout, power, strength, endurance, or ESP. The coaches, while having their own style, each offer great guidance on form and technique, and keep me motivated throughout the 60 minutes. I tell all my family and friends that I would not be consistent in my workouts if not for Orangetheory. I leave every time feeling confident and ready to conquer my day!
The coaches teach and lead professionally. The workouts are varied and adjustable , equipment is well cared for and the location is convenient. What’s not to love?

I love the accountability of having a scheduled class, which ensures I will work out. I also appreciate the coach's instruction and how they are able to give corrections. The administrative staff is always helpful, too! Friendly and inclusive environment to work out at.

I like that the instructors are kind and energetic. Having an instructor and being in a class setting with others motivates me to push and challenge myself in a way that's really hard to do on my own. The workouts themselves are great and have helped me be overall more consistent with working out.
