I called to set up an appointment for my RV. The service rep (Olivia) was very friendly and knowledgeable and arranged for my service the next morning. The service required the RV to say overnight. My RV was ready the next day and the cost was on the low side of the quote. I will continue to use General RV for my RV service needs.
Natalia in service always makes you feel welcome and does her job incredibly well. Blake in Sales is the Best and makes sure you are taken care of and Gabe and Shane as Managers who will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy when you leave. Outstanding company.
I’m a full time rv’er and needed a brake system for my new Jeep for towing behind my rv. Travis was my service rep and was very helpful through the entire process. He explained everything and went over all the details, parts and labor costs to my satisfaction. I arrived late afternoon the day before my appointment and Travis arranged a spot to park and plug in my rv overnight. That was a big plus for me being a full timer and saved me a great deal of hassle. Thank you to Travis for a job well done.
I would like to say one thing about the girls up front at reception, and this is true of many businesses these days…making first impressions. From the first day I visited General RV not a one would greet me, smile, say hello. I had to stand there for what seemed like five minutes, feeling like I was invisible while they were busy, on the phone or shuffling papers before someone acknowledged my presence. The impression I got of them was that I was just another person who’s a burden to their day. I’m sure they have to deal with a lot of fussy, demanding customers but we’re customers, not your enemy. Since the people at reception are a customers first impressive of a business I’d recommend when a customer comes in, even if they’re busy or on the phone just make a brief acknowledgment, a quick smile and ‘I’ll be with you in a second’ goes a long way. If it seems stapling papers is more important than greeting a customer that’s not a good impression. I can staple papers and say hello at the same time. If the reception staff is friendly and helpful I’m assured the other employees I’ll deal with will be the same. Just constructive criticism, not a personal attack on anyone.
