Good at following through with phone calls. The techs are pleasant and thoughtful in covering their shoes with booties. They are also thorough in letting me know what is wrong and what needs to be done to fix the problem. I have been using Standard Heating for many years and have never had an issue with them.
it is timely & friendly service people
My humidifier was not installed properly over 5 years ago so it has not worked for all those years....this is what your service tech informed me at his recent visit.
Also at some time over those same years the tech found evidence of a water leak but did not have an explanation for what caused the leak and if there is a remedy so now I am concerned there is an installation problem that may resurface and cause problems in the future or shorten the life of my very expensive high efficiency furnace??
Nate is the very best who has kept our heating and cooling equipment running year after year without a hitch.
We have purchased 3 furnaces and 2 air conditioners from Standard. The installers and maintence service has been excellent over the years.
Standard did a thorough analysis of our home and explained our heating and cooling needs based on all of the factors. It was clear Standard was concerned with our comfort rather than just making a sale. Standard was supposed to be a "second opinion", but the "first opinion" just looked at our furnace and gave us outrageous quotes for a lot of extra features we didn't need. It was clear Standard was looking to build a relationship with us as a valued customer rather than just another anonymous number in a ledger.

Prices seem high to me. I added on a hot surface ignitor because I knew the age of mine, but it seems the time charge was around $100 (with part being around $75, as acknowledged by tech) for something that took 5-10 minutes tops, less if you consider that he already had the part out as a function of the tuneup. Similarly the $149 for the time the tuneup took also seems high for the time involved, when it is on top of the trip charge. I understand the trip charge. I'm happy with the service and the worker who was in my home, but may look for a company with a better value.
