Nathan has come to my house several times. He is very knowledgeable and pleasant! Has good suggestions -- keeps the customer in mind when giving suggestions/ideas, such as finances, what is most efficient for the home, etc.

If you recommend a part replacement when doing a routine checkup, make sure it gets installed correctly. I had a a\c check this summer and was told my capaciter should be replaced because it was leaking. I had him replace it. Next time I used the a\c it went out. I had to have someone come back out two more times to figure out that two of the wires had been installed incorrectly on the new capaciter!

Let me start by sating We are already recommending your company to all our home owning friends.
We've had two inspections done so far for our maintenance agreement. Both have been excellent experiences. The first technician caught an issue with our furnance and recommended replacing the failing part. The second technician found nothing wrong. Both technicians were curtious and there was no hgh-pressure "you gotta fix this, or else" in either visit.
The home maintenance field can be a minefield of technicians and repair persons that are only out to make a quick buck. We did not get that feeling from either Standard Technician, or any other representative of Standard Heating and Air Conditioning.
Jeff arrived on time and was a very personable and a qauility person. This has been the case with all of the people that have called on me.
Service technicians are very friendly but professional, come on time and answer any questions.
Have the person who looks at the situation the day before be the installer.

At the last preventative maintenance on 12/3/15, the technician damaged the filter replacement for the electrostatic air cleaner, but left it in and said that they would replace it at the next furnace check-up. He also left the unit turned off, which I hadn't realized at the time. He did not check the heat pump at all, explaining that he was not familiar with the operation.
More recently, at 5:30 pm on Friday 2/5/16, we noticed the house was cooler than expected and discovered that the furnace was not working at all. I called for a Standard technician to come and a service appointment was scheduled for between 6 pm and 10 pm on that day. The dispatcher did ask about the GFI circuit for the condensate water pump and that had been a problem in the past, but it had also previously been replaced with a non-GFI circuit to avoid this ever happening again.
After I hung up, I checked the water pump and saw that it was full of water and was not pumping. In the process of removing the water from the unit, I was able to jog the float lever and water started pumping again. Then the furnace came back on. I called the dispatcher back and told her that it was definitely something to do with the water pump, and while I'd gotten things going again, I still wanted a technician to come out and make certain that it wasn't about to fail again.
After that, no technician called or arrived. Today, 2/6/16, I tried calling again, but there was a queue for the service number and I did not wait for it. I was planning to call back on Monday but I received your survey request in my email on Saturday and responded.
I would appreciate having an experienced technication coming to check the furnace and addess whatever is going on with the water pump. I'd also like to have a new electrostatic filter properly installed and make certain that the unit is operating appropriately. I do appreciate that the filters are difficult to install, that's why we have you replace them for us along with the regular maintenance.
