The tile looks great! The techs explained the process well before starting and both were very friendly and professional.

It dries quicker than some steam cleaners and doesn’t get stiff. Plus Aaron was very courteous and a good technician.

TLDR: Overall, excellent. Just shy of outstanding. Service as promised, ahead of schedule, done fast, at the quoted price -- with pet spray and couch spot done at no charge. I will use Zerores again and recommend to friends. Many details follow.

I learned about Zerorez when I saw a van driving around Cedar Park 18 months ago. Looked up the company.

Did some research and read some reviews. Lots of positives. I worked for a social commerce company and most of the R&R look legit.

Recently decided to try services out on a small pet-related clean up and to fix poor work performed three weeks earlier by another company. That job didn't get everything, took 4+ days to dry, and left a residue.

My thoughts on this experience:

- Scheduling and pre-appt communication were efficient.

- Tech was an hour early, with advance communication from HQ on the timeline. Big plus.

- Tech was authentic, polite, and professional. Said he had been with the company for 6+ years. He was happy. Obviously felt appreciated and enjoyed what he was doing.

- Tech introduced himself. Asked me questions. Listened to what I said and let my replies drive how he did the work. SUPERB listening / response.

- Not good. He gave me a show-and-tell about what was coming out of the carpet before he started the job. During this, he stuck a white rag over the vac tube as a filter. Did a couple passes w/o steam, and there was stuff on the rag. Felt like marketing blabber + sleight-of-hand easily done by pre-loading the tube with lint at the truck before turning on the motor. The lack of authenticity in this piece of the experience was uncomfortable and felt out of place to me. Let level of service and job quality speak for themselves. This is one of two reasons I didn't give a 10/10.

- I read that y'all do furniture too. I asked if tech could spot-treat a stain I had on my couch for a couple years. He was able to lift the 6x6" stain, and didn't charge me because my carpet job was smaller and faster than expected, which kept him ahead of schedule. Stain is gone, and there is no ring from the cleaning. Awesome.

- Check-out was efficient. Tech was aware that credit card numbers and other PII on hand-held devices can be a problem. He talked me through data movement. He let me enter my own CC# and info for the billing, and made sure screen was clear after executing the sale. HUGE plus on this whole part of the experience.

- Second reason I didn't give 10/10. Poop on Zerores for not giving me an option to tip in the check-out process. Please do that, with a note that assures me 100% of my gratuity goes to the tech. I didn't have enough cash on hand to give him what I wanted to. Poop on me for that, I guess.

- Two short post-interaction emails to drive ratings. Good strategy.

- Most impressive highlight: I have multiple dogs and told the tech I was most concerned with time to dry. He said, "It's 11:15 right now. Your carpet should be dry enough to walk on by late afternoon. But hold me to it that your carpet will be fully dry by 6pm." Given my experience by the other company, I was doubtful. But he was absolutely right - even on the stairs where the other company left it wet.

Don’t know much about your offered products, like the service and convenience of having a completed server ce.

Very professional and such respect for your home! Pricing is fair, arrival time was accurate or sooner and very customer-friendly! I would recommend this company over and over. Did I mention that if you have a stubborn stain, they will let you immediately if it can be fixed.
