The technician was very knowledgeable and personable. The service was outstanding and the carpet is clean as can be.
The reason our landlord called back and why the pee smell is still lingering, is that the previous tenants let their dog pee all over the first few steps of the staircase as well as the tile floor at the bottom of it. For two years. Of course, the smell is impregnated in the tile and probably the wood under the carpet as well - the carpet needs to be replaced and the bare steps and tile thoroughly cleaned for the issue to be solved.
