Our son is very much enjoying his classes, band and performances at School of Rock! He has been improving in his music every day and SoR has been instrumental (got it?) in helping to build his confidence and skills.
We are loving school of Rock. Our daughter is learning so much.
The bands have gotten overly large, limiting the number of songs some of the kids play. Also, some kids appear to be assigned a disproportionate number of songs, which would make sense if this were a competition- but its not. And everyone pays the same tuition so seems there should be more equity. This likely causes a viscious circle of student disengagement and teacher assuming the student is not interested. I like the staff, but they seem to have varying abilities to inspire the kids to love what they are doing.
Kids enjoy the experience and learn better when surrounded by their peers
The staff is amazing. The school is set up to provide a wonderful learning and performance experience. Meet new and talented people live your dream and fantasy. I wish this was around when I was a kid way cool.

I wanted to express my gratitude to the staff I engage with at SOR- Cyrpess
Eric has been a great instructor and band director during my time there. Josh as been great. The current Wed night instructors are really good too: Chris I believe? I can't remember the other.
My only concern is the business model of the split gigs; short set followed by the full set the following week. For us adults it can get logistically challenging with other activities with families and other interests

The constantly increasing prices are a disappointment. The performance groups are a little crowded. Other than that every person in the business is super nice.
The school is kind of small. The practice rooms do not have adequate soundproofing installed.
The instructors could make use of some better tools, like TVs in the practice rooms to display their iPad screens on.
teachers understand different learners
James and Ariel spent a lot of time on the difficult parts of the songs.
We have had an awesome experience at School of Rock Southlake/Keller. The teachers have really inspired our kids, and the opportunities to perform in the community have been plentiful. We have been happy to send our children to lessons, rehearsals, and performances for many years at this school. Truly grateful for School of Rock and its wonderful people!

The instructors are all topnotch which can be seen in how well the younger kids perform. It's also a great way to learn how to play with other musicians of all levels in a band environment. Environment I've met has been very pleasant and a ll work to bring out the best in you.
This is a SUPER unique program that helps both children and adults learn to love a variety of music and grow in skill.
My granddaughter loves her teachers and the program and that is all that matters to me.
I appreciate that the Rookies class is meant to get children used to instruments but it would be nice if they learned more. Sometimes I feel like they just go in there and play for an hour and don’t learn much. $175 a month is a lot for them to play for an hour. Also, seems like they have a new teacher every week. That’s a little discouraging.
I like it provides personal time with student and teacher one on one. And also they having experience to play in band. My daughter very exited every time to go there. Wishing she could go there every day

I like the flexibility and knowledge of my instructor that allows him to customize my lessons. I also like the office staff and management. They are always polite and learned my name right away.
As a parent I commend the communication and teaching methods that SOR uses. Whether through private lessons or Rock Band the expectations are easy known through follow up emails and their online app that allows students to challenge themselves to improve each week. The staff are happy, engaging, knowledgeable.
The School of Rock is one place my son its excited about going every time! He has not only learned how to play an instrument, he is learning how to play it in a band! I am very thankful for The School of Rock-Cypress, They have helped my son develop social and emotional skills, It has been very positive for him in every way!
