We brought in our Lance Travel Trailer for what we thought was an air conditioner problem. However, the service tech determined that the problem lied with our converter. This solved some mysterious electrical issues that we'd been having with the RV whenever we were hooked to shore power, including flickering lights and the overcharging of our two lithium iron phosphate batteries. We thought we needed a new charge controller, but all of the problems turned out to be connected with the converter. In addition, the service tech informed us that our old controller was not designed to charge lithium batteries. These findings saved us the money we were planning to spend on a charge controller and probably saved our batteries as well.
What do I like about the products and services? The professionalism. In addition, the fact that the employees enjoyed their work environment was obvious. It says a lot to me when a work environment is free from negativity and the employees like their jobs. I appreciate the diagnostic skills of the techs and the excellent treatment by the management and administrative staff. The repair shop was clean and well organized. While some RV repair shops have lower hourly rates, if they are not efficient and skilled, a one-hour job can turn into four. Alpin Haus techs are both skilled and efficient and did not "milk" our job. We thought the charged price was more than fair, and less than expected.
Good service
Heather (sales) and Seth (parts) were so very helpful!
I bought 2 bass boats from here and never had a problem with service or anything, keep the great work, thank you Bob Last name removed
They were in constant contact with us every step of the way.
We liked the large inventory and the way we were treated from the start.
Grand design imagine . Staff was very professional and attentive.salesman bill bradt. Cody was very thorough on the walk through. I was quite impressed with robs installation of the hitch and accessories.
Really nothing except the pricing which you get what you pay for so it's understandable
The staff was incredibly professional and friendly and were not pushy at all. I came to Alpin Haus having found what I thought I would buy and left having put a down payment on an RV equivalent to what I came for but for several thousand less. They worked with me as I worked out my finances, were accessible by phone, text, or e-mail, and were great about answering any questions I might have. I worked with Asa (sales, found me the perfect RV) Keith (manager, finalized everything the day I picked it up, dealt with finance), and Dan (Prepped my RV and went over it "nose to tail" with me!)
Randy is the best! He consistently attends to all of our rv issues with courtesy and competence. Thank you!
Ray was outstanding.
Service
Very timely response to our breakdown. We thought the charge was a bit excessive for the time & distance travelled but we had no choice. Tech’s were friendly and very helpful. Thank you Roy for your assistance.
Alot of things over looked that can be repaired
Scott,Matt and Liam are second to none as far as salesman, finance and walk thru and helping with questions in that order! This is our second Grand Design purchase from Alpin Haus, one from Amsterdam NY and know Saratoga. Dave is awesome at Amsterdam but Saratoga had what we wanted. We will see on service, we drop our 395MS-R off Sunday at Amsterdam to have the happy Jack bed system installed. We were told one day, I’m giving 3 then we pick it up and our grandkids are going camping with us. This was a very important selling pint and we were promised it would be done. I’m scepticle. We have not made out well with Alpin Haus service.
Jacob was very nice and very helpful.
Our walk through on our camper was not very thorough for being new to RVing. Gentleman was very nice but we realized we were walking away with more questions than were covered, after the fact. He didn't follow the check off list and asked us to look at it, asking if there was something we wanted to go over. Plus, noticing a defect that we think would have been noticed by the staff and fixed before we were to pick up.
Front of the house was great, Heather was awesome and finance manager was very helpful.
This review is for Michaela Matchett on the services team. As a new trailer owner, Michaela helped walk through several hiccups within my buying process and made sure I was taken care of through & through. Once the sales team stopped responding to inquiries about the damages I experienced after never using the “new” vehicle, michaela was the only professional within this establishment to make sure I was taken care of and getting on the road. I purchased my trailer the last week of March and still have not had a chance to use due to the ongoing issues. Nonetheless, michaela has been there to help out and keep my head on a swivel. As frustrating as it’s been I wanted to leave a good review for the services team because without them I would’ve just sold the thing by now. Thanks Michaela!
I had my leaking shower fixed and work done to repair a wet spot. I left immediate after the work was completed an now am in Ohio and the shower still leaks.
I am not back in new jersey for 5 weeks and will have to get some else to fix the problem
I had to bring my camper in TWICE to have the original water issue fixed. The first time your technicians said there was nothing wrong with the water system, but there was clearly a leak. When i brought it back in the second time, I was told that parts and labor were going to be roughly $320 plus tax. When I arrived to pick up my camper, the bill was for $644 and my card had already been charged.
From my perspective, I feel like during the first visit, nothing was actually done to determine the issue. The second time, I feel like I was given incorrect information in regards to billing. Better attention to detail and effective communication is warranted in light of both visits. I am not confident in the service department at this point and I will be considering other businesses for my future needs. I would have expected better service from the establishment I purchased my. camper from in 2019.
you are the most arrogant over priced company i have ever dealt with.
i just had you come back as they said they could not do it when they were here to open my pool as i had a 3 foot section of liner to tuck back in.
i was charged $275 and he was here for less than a half hour.
i even had to go over to set it up as they had forgotten about it.
i will not be doing buisness anymore with you and they seemed to be ok with that
we told them what we were looking for and Art Copper the salesman found just what we wanted, They all were very nice to work with.
Thank you
While spending almost $60,000 for a new travel trailer, you would think you would get a brand new battery with the rig. I had to negotiate and work a deal to get it included. Originally, they wanted me to just use my old battery out of my trade in.
EVERYTHING, From the time you walk in the Door till after you have to come back for Service.
Smooth and seamless.
Products and services are amazing and professional just a little pricey.
Very responsive! Also, Doug is great!
