Unfortunately the theater is beginning to look bad. The young man behind the snack counter was the only employee I saw the entire time we were there. I purchased our movie tickets online and no one even checked them when we entered the theater. We could’ve watched a movie without purchasing a ticket, and after our movie was over, we could’ve stayed and watched more movies we didn’t pay for. The theater seems to be going down hill and will possibly lose money due to low staffing. Auditorium 11 had a stuffy, old smell, but appeared clean and we always enjoy the recliners. We love this pier park location but I was pretty shocked by the appearance of the theater, half of the areas such as the ticket booth, and other snack stands were closed off and no longer in service. It appears that possibly it’s poor management, or maybe lack of ability to find reliable employees. We will continue to frequent this location because it’s our favorite. The worker at the snack stand was extremely helpful and friendly. In a day and time where it’s hard to find good employees, this young man seemed to be a prize.

Our party attendant Gabriel was outstanding! He was very friendly and easy to work with. He went above and beyond to make sure our event went smoothly. He was polite and professional and I wish every party attendant was as good as him!

Shannon Davies was excellent to work with. She was very knowledgeable and helpful with alllll of my questions. The staff at Pier Park was also 100% ready for us when we arrived and the field trip ran smoothly without any issues. We will be back again!
Everything! I appreciate that Santikos gives back to the community and I love that ticket prices are lower than other theaters. The theater we went to was clean and comfortable. I already do recommend Santikos to friends. Oh! And the popcorn is the best!
Great experience
Oftentimes, during the previews, the doors to the theater are left open. For the layout for Theater 1 (iMAX), this results in a bright glare of light on the lower right side of the screen unless someone closes these doors. During the viewing yesterday, no one closed the doors, and I had to interrupt my viewing experience at the start of the film to walk to the theater entrance and close the doors to remove the glare.
Don't know if this is unique to theater 1 because I usually only come for imax, but I've had to do this at at least 75% of my iMax viewings at this theater.

We like the Monday discounts for first responders and military. If we don’t make Monday we go on Tuesday for $6 day. The employees are friendly!!
