Easily 5 stars for me-- I’ve been a member at Fitness Factory @ Bell Works in Holmdel for about 7 months now, and I love it. The equipment is top-tier and well maintained — great variety of machines, cardio, and free weights, and feel my workouts have improved since joining. The gym is clean and well kept located on 2 levels, and has a great stretching area.
The staff and other members are friendly, and there’s a warm, welcoming vibe. Definitely not an intimidating “gym bro” atmosphere — just a solid place to train.
One of the coolest parts is the location — the gym is housed in the former Bell Labs complex, which has amazing architecture. The building is huge, open, bright, and has a very modern mid-century feel with some nice retail/places to eat. It’s way more inspiring than your average gym.
Amenities are solid: there’s a juice bar and very decent locker rooms. I haven’t really taken advantage of the classes yet (my focus is cardio and machines),

And the price is hard to beat — about $40/month (1yr contract) or $50 month to month, and doesnt have crazy sign-up fees. Coming from NYC gyms like Chelsea Piers and Equinox, I can say this place doesn’t have every luxury, but it’s easily the best value in the area in my opinion.
If you want a serious, no-nonsense gym with great gear, a friendly crowd, and a really cool location, I’d definitely recommend Fitness Factory @ Bell Works.

The gym has everything you're looking for. Equipment, classes, a pool, hot tub, and a sauna. For the price way better than Lifetime.
I appreciate my trainer Dario Hernandez. I am not only having a positive experience with the exercises, but he connects the instruction to a lesson. He teaches me how the exercise will help a specific muscle group or what the exercise will improve my overall physical health.
He is respectful and professional and generates a positive energy.

I consider our club the best in our state and in many others. Great amenities, great equiptment and amazing staff. Always updating and adding great new options like Elysian. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for the best!
I like the abundance of free weights and machines and the cleanliness of the facility. Members are respectful of each other and give you space to lift and be ‘in the zone’.

I love it but the sauna is always not hot i hate that i have to turn it on before my workout so it can warmup, It makes me feel like i work there… and the red light therapy sauna light is broken. I just wish we could rent lockers too.

I enjoy the early morning and evening instructor led fitness classes. The instructors are good and offer options depending on your ability.
