Customer service was just ok, and pricing was a little high.

Mike is very easy to work with very knowledgable and very helpful. He makes the remodelling
experience far more stress-free. This is the second time I am asking for quotes on several projects. I would definitely recommend him to friends and neighbors.

How about what I don't like? These pushy surveys. I have a connection with the gentleman who came out and will keep him informed when I have made my final decisions. My original request was for FUTURE BUDGETING AND PLANNING.
Yes I believe your prices are too high. I had several estimates for the same project and you price was $5000 above the others. I purchased a porch and after further evaluation I paid to much for that. Your prices are just exceedingly higher than the competitors.

Price negotiation
Beltway Builders cost estimate was very high. A 33' x 15' patio was $19,800. Other companies were $18-$20 a square foot but Beltway Builders was $40! That is double what I was looking to pay. To add insult to injury, the fire pit and bench was another $9,010, a stone grill was $4,700 and to run a gas line was $1,500. I told the salesman on the first day that my budget was $20,000 and he said that was doable. When the estimator (Erin) returned the budget escalated.
You did fine. I am going to wait to get work done after September. I have found a flight overseas and I am going if they still fly on June 10th. I need to go for personal reasons.
I had appt. Said it was a 30 minute window when I called at1:30 they informed me it would be another hr. Not good

Aaron the rep. Took a few measurements ask what I needed done he really didn’t seem to care thought I had enough cabinets. my kitchen is small I was trying to in large it by removing the dining room table so I could put an island in. He was suppose to email me some plans he had all the colors. The Add I saw said free granite he said we’ll worry about that later. At that point I new he didn’t care. So I don’t think you’ll be getting my business.

No references no pictures except of two houses where they might have done some work. Plus the big part was we never requested contact them in the first place. If I was looking fir fire damage that is something that might become at some time a slight interest.
The quote was way above my budget.

On Angie's List when seeking estimates I specified I was seeking to restore not replace my deck. In spite of that Allied Restoration was interested in coming out to look at my deck.. The representative from this company recommended I replace my deck. When I said no, the guy then quoted me a very high price to restore it. He asked if I had had other estimates. I told him yes. He asked for estimates I was given and I cited one that was much lower than what he provided. He responded it must have been from a smaller business.
