We had decided we were going to rent and drive our own truck but we wanted help getting everything loaded on the truck.
The crew that came were very friendly and did an awesome job of wrapping our furniture and loading the truck! Tetris master!!

The movers from Fresno to Nipomo were amazing. The guys were professional, diligent, careful, conscientious.
The SLO based team were nice however there were many issues such as denting walls, breaking items, not correctly putting a bed together, not completing the job, being in a hurry to leave instead of completing the job.

My wife and I are very happy with the service we received from Meathead Movers. Every person we interacted with was exceptionally knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. Marshall and Garrett made sure everything was understood and planned for prior to our move. They answered all our questions and made sure the set-up went smoothly. And then on the day of the move, Joe and Miguel went above and beyond what we were expecting. They are two of the nicest, most professional people we have had the good fortune of meeting. They are quick, efficient, courteous, highly skilled and always focused on the task at hand. And they really do jog back from the truck! When we think of Meathead Movers, we think of truth in advertising. With every word and deed, each member of the team consistently proved their company's commitment to excellence and taking care of their customers. So many ways! Because the inventory list was "incomplete," and after spending immeasurable wasteful time on the phone (several calls) with his "manager," Winston told us that we could either reschedule the entire move for another date (not an option), or they would take just what was originally on the "list" and leave the rest for us to deal with on our own. There was no feeling that Meatheads was trying to accommodate or help us in any way. We originally indicated 50 boxes but called a couple of days before and upped to 100 (confirmed). That info never got to Winston (more delays). Also we were never asked by sales nor did we indicated sizes, but was told by Winston that they were only going to take what sales has listed (majority small & medium).
"Sales" never indicated to us that we had better be sure to list every single item or that only the items listed would be moved. When we were Trying to get this worked out, it seemed there was a severe lack of communication between "sales" and "dispatch" or "management," and very long wait times on the phone. Day of... felt that Meatheads didn't care about whether we would be "disappointed" or whether we might use them again or recommend them. Very unfortunate situation! Should we have been more detailed about the inventory, YES! But could Meatheads have been more helpful in a very stressful situation, YES!
From the 1st call we made, to the reservation and contract sign, to the 3 gentlemen that arrived out on site, was all about customer service, handling our home furnishings with care and were totally AWESOME!!! We were nervous to have someone else move our things and because we had heard nothing but great things about Meathead Movers, we called and were very happy with the whole service and care we experienced. The list is very long. I feel like I was Bate and switched. The job was only 70% done leaving us with an apartment full of stuff that we had to go back and move our selves . Once the truck was full they just said well the truck is full so we are done here. Going back to grab what was left behind took 8 hours and 3 trucks. We didn’t finish our move until 5am. I was charged an amount on my debit card of 3400 that I did not agree on and was told that I would have the chance to speak to someone before I was charged. I was told that the movers were familiar with the Tempur-pedic bed that moved up and down. Only one side of the bed is now working. This so far has been the worse moving experience I have ever had. I was all set to use pure movers and saw that meathead movers was ranked number 1 in California. So I gave you guys a call and was convinced that if we did enough of the prep work ourselves and the job was done in under 8 hours that the cost would be pretty close to the minimum that was 2200 dollars. The moves was completed in under 8 hrs and then I was hit with the max amount that it could have cost for a job that was far from complete.
