We felt as though we were given a low and inappropriate estimate. This was then changed on the day of the move. We ended up with an incomplete move for the cost of what other companies had estimated we could have moved all items. It felt like a bait and switch. If you are not going to come to the property to do your estimate your sales people need to have a better grasp of what will be needed based on client description.

Experience was far from my prior experience with the Ventura crew. The recalculation at start was unnecessary - there was no overage beyond the 3 hours and the time could have been spent actually loading items. The time spent on detailing every item at $239/hr for crew of 2 was extensive (one sat completing the paperwork while the other loaded, both at the start and finish). This was again the opposite of Ventura where the crew loaded the entire time, counted boxes etc and charged me for their actual labor time at the end.
I don’t know if this was the on-site crew workers decisions or the management directives. So did not complete the evaluation form handed to me to complete and hand back to the crew on-site. Again this was strange, and not similar to my experience with other hired contractors. I was asked repeatedly to complete the form immediately and hand back to one of them.
I would refer you to the Ventura business model if you want return business and referrals.
I cannot sing their praises enough.From office staff to the movers, everyone is efficient, professional, courteous, knowledgable, friendly, and respectful. I never had to worry about my possessions at any time. Their services are worth every penny. I will definitely use them for any future moves.
I liked the entire experience. The staff who quoted moving services and helped me set up this move were very thorough and easy to reach if I had questions or needed a change made. The two movers who loaded my stored items into the truck I rented were friendly yet professional and had the job done in half the quoted time. I would highly recommend Meathead movers to family and friends.

Meathead movers are on time, and are constantly looking to support the customer. Friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Meathead movers, we had 3 PODs delivered at 3 different times, and we used 3 different crews on different days. Each time, the crew were professional, helpful and hardworking.
