We have used Meathead movers before and are impressed with their professionalism.
I didn't appreciate seeing items loaded/unloaded without a covering. Pillows were just thrown into the moving truck and unloaded into a warehouse without being bagged or boxed. The cream colored cloth seats on our dining chairs were not covered and items were placed on top of them when unloaded. Our white upholstered bed frame was taken apart and not covered at all in shrink-wrap or anything, which is just shocking. This is an expensive bed and proper care was not taken to protect it. For the price we paid for this service, I was disappointed by this.

We hired three movers and got two, subsequently taking almost 9 hours to pack a two bedroom apartment into a truck.
Very flexible on the scheduling. As my move date shifted, due to a delayed closing process, Meathead work cheerfully with me to get us moved on time.

Service started at 9:20 and ended at 10:44. We were charged 1.75 hours and I said the maths not right on that and he argued with me and was super rude about it. I didn’t make a scene as I was paying for my friend’s move and she was right there, but it made me really mad. I’ve used meathead several times before and this was my first bad experience. But. Not sure I’ll be back.
Movers were terrific young and very polite
The problem was at storage. They had it closed at 1:30 it took hour and half for someone to open the storage
We were at storage at 4 and they Couldn’t unload until 5;30

This area is not large enough to describe the debacle that was our move with the Fresno branch of your outfit. Spent almost 9K, had one of the worst experiences of our adult life. The full narrative has been discussed with both Michael Bronze and Jesus Lango, but we've been shuttled to the claims department, where the documentation only supports damaged goods and where the process will lose us for at least 30 days.
My issues are about services NOT rendered, not damaged goods. I am a permanently-handicapped individual who paid almost $9000.00 to what has previously a very professional company for me. I opted for Meathead not only for their track record, but for one simple thing - we needed someone that would properly get all of our items to our new property on time, in budget, and would reassemble our beds, which is the most important piece. Again, I am handicapped, I have no personal resources to help with a move of this size, and we paid above and beyond to get this done right. None of this happened, and we're now in a situation where we'll be slow-hauling boxes from our garage for weeks to come. From my synopsis, the problem origin relates to an internal problem between the team that estimated the move and the team that performed the move. However, mix that with a very green/unskilled team lead, and the Client in this case paid the price.
Meathead maintains some admirable core values on it's websites, values that I too personally admire and follow. The team that "executed" my move broke at least three of these Core Values, (including the follow-up discussion with the site Ops Manager, who has seen fit to simply bury us in process.) I can't get anyone to take proper ownership of this experience, and simply make it right. I'm personally stunned at the nonchalance with which the Fresno branch has dealt with this so far. I really do wish someone above/beyond/outside the Fresno group were to receive this, and actually investigate, as this is such a poor reflection of what Meathead aspires to be. I don't go out of my way to blast poor performance on social media, but this "disaster" of a move was so egregious that I'm having to both file complaints with the BHGS and will eventually share my experience directly with Meathead executives as time permits.

I just can't say enough great things about this crew and Meathead Movers in general. From the first phone call to move day everyone was just so helpful.
I hope I don't have to move again for a very long, but if I do it will be with Meathead.
When i made the initial appointment it seemed like the guys could handle the movement of our treadmill, even if it had to be unhooked and taken apart to make the move out of a bedroom. Morning of, it was less certain until the guys showed up and they indicated they wouldn't feel comfortable "unhooking" the electronics. I then got a text that said the same...if I would have known I had time to make another arrangement...now I have to wait. They guys were good about moving the contents of some boxes inside but as it got time to end they were in a hurry and I had to ask them to re-engage the "ab cruncher" machine that they had previously unhooked to move it from the bedroom.
The crew that was sent was awesome! They never slowed down and had the best personalities. Would highly recommend this crew and company. Very accommodating.

Kris and Jacob were amazing! They hustled and I couldn't be happier.
Showed up with no blankets, apparently no dollies (they used mine and near the end used one of theres), staged items near elevator on dollies so we were without dollies for long periods, had no tools and the team that came to pack our stuff a few days before pack our tools so we had to run to lowes and buy tools to disassemble our bed frames.
We were packing a POD and truck and they kept mixing up what went where. I told them boxes last since they could be stored at a families house where furniture couldn't.
They packed boxes first and we ran out of room in the pod and had to throw away $100s of furniture. Nothing was wrapped or protected in the pod and while trying to get as much as possible in the POD some shelves fell and broke our dining room chairs. And some of the boxes I needed on the truck were loaded on the POD so now I have to pay $150 to have the POD redelivered, unload it myself to get the boxes I need, then reload and try and protect the furniture, then pay $150 to get it picked back up before its shipped.
The main guy with glasses (I can't remember their names) was quiet and seemed overwhelmed, the other 2 had great attitudes but it seems like your training needs lots of work on protecting furniture and TVs (I had to wrap our TVs in our bath towels to try and protect them).
I will be calling as soon to demand a full refund, not only did they guys who came do a really bad job, the sales associate I spoke with way underestimated the number of people needed, we had 3 movers and should have 5 at a minimum (I repeatedly told them how long the walk was from the apt to the elevator) which added hours to the move and lead to me needing to come back the next day to finish which added $200 in additional costs to the uhaul rental I had.
Not a single thing went right.

Our movers themselves were so nice and helpful Unfortunately, they were not able to move one of the pieces of equipment we needed moved. They were a half hour later than expected. And we were charged $200 more than the original quote.
Maybe if they had more information on the size of pieces we needed moved they would have been able to complete the job.
Now after paying them quite a bit of money we have to shell out more to finish the job. I am disappointed.
