I was used to using a traditional sauna.
The infrared sauna is also nice, but it takes a long time for my body to regain the heat after a plunge, and actually start sweating, about 15mins. Also there are some gaps between the glass door and door jambs, which can be sealed. I could feel cool air coming into the sauna the whole time.
Another thing is, the infrared heaters are facing towards the edge of the room, and not towards the middle. If I'm laying down on the seat, my face and toes are being heated, instead of the core of my body. If I wanna get the full benefit of the heater, I need to sit on the edge of the bank right in front of the heater. It can be more effective if they were facing towards the middle of the room.

I had to call the store because I was going to be late for my 4:15 p.m. session. I spoke on the phone with Izzy, who is incredibly kind and patient! We agreed that I would just take 15 minutes off my session when I arrived. I called back shortly after because unfortunately, I was going to be much later than anticipated. She was able to help me cancel my session with ease. I love all of the staff at the Burlington location. I have another session booked for Sunday and I’m looking forward to it!

On time, clean and staff was very friendly!
Typically, my experiences are wonderful. However, my last visit, to a studio I don’t usually go to (chestnut hill), performed a bit under par. There was a nor’easter and I was 6 minutes late because of the driving conditions. This was deducted from my total time, which I understand. But, at times, I think these restrictions should be waived. Also, I was left without a towel to dry my body after my final shower. So there were 2 placed in the sauna, for sauna use, but not any for shower use. I think they forgot to place one by the cold plunge tub.
