Fantastic experience from start to finish. Bike arrived well packaged yet easy to assemble. Included tools were a nice touch. Condition of used bike was as described and in better shape than expected. Unfortunately due to sizing I needed to return by this was just as easy as buying. I simply requested a return and within 5 minutes had a return label and a scheduled date for pickup at my home. Easy peasy. Well done Trek!

I liked having the Allant +8S delivered to my home so I could put it together myself. We have 2 bike dealers in town but it is not convenient for me to get to them, so having it come to my house was a major plus when ordering the bike. Putting the bike together was simple and I was surprised to find every tool required was provided in the box.
What I do wish was included was instructions on things others may consider common knowledge. This is my first ebike and I had no idea how to turn the power on. The on/off button was hidden from view by the Bosch phone holder. Found the battery key in the box that held the tools but had no idea what it was for until after I viewed a number of YouTube review videos. I do wish there was a way to be able to turn the lights on/off and also a way to change kph to mph. I have read that you can have the dealer change those things for you but they are too far away for me to ride the bike to and I have no other way to get the bike there and back.
Have put a few miles on the bike and have really enjoyed it. Comfortable to ride, more power assist than I expected and the brakes are impressive! Very happy with my purchase.
